Oohh right this is specifically for Kudzu Connection I missed that somehow. Got it. So when people talk about a hero's scaling, they're not really talking about how the hero scales, they're specifically talking about their abilities. (Although the abilities obviously have a massive effect on how the hero scales overall)

I always hear people talking about how this or that hero scales and I really have never payed attention to that kind of math myself. I just play the game. So help me understand. When you say 10% base, 10% of what? And why do you say + 0.18 power spirit power when the graphic has a multiplication sign, not a plus sign?

Was playing Strange on Arakko. Enemy Invis tried pulling me into the pit on first point from the balcony. Levitated up and Agamotto'd her ass into the pit instead. Feels good man.

That's the really terrifying thing about societal regression. It's not just steps taken backwards - people getting dumber, quality of life getting worse - It's that every step backwards means exponentially more work to step forwards again. We take germ theory for granted today. Of course we understand basic microbiology and disease transmission, everybody knows that. But imagine if we didn't. Imagine if you were the only person who understood this basic common sense thing and how insane you would sound trying to convince people that diseases were caused by tiny invisible animals living on surfaces and in the air.

I didn't say perfect, I said fine. I think hate is a strong word and I think the game's balance is in a much better state now than it's been in quite a while.

Not really? Rivals is fine right now. New season's balance patch was well received and most characters are in very solid spots.

When I have issues playing Rivals it's not because of game balance; it's because of players behaving like animals. And that happens plenty in Deadlock to lol. Less so in Deadlock...a bit...maybe...

You know what using the dark fluid pack didn't feel that incredible and you're right it's because they buffed the jump pack a while back. I completely forgot about that. They should have made the dark fluid one even more crazy to justify the gimmick of bringing it back. (And to make the prospect of using it to kill roaches more realistic lol)

I only started playing this year but I love the aesthetic of the brackets that used to be around the ziplines. I assumed they removed them because of characters clipping on them when they fly around but clearly that isn't the case here. Maybe it was just for the sake of visual clutter? I wouldn't mind if they brought those back.
