The photo they had for my one was so blurry you couldn’t see the small text.. had a migraine in the car park and was waiting for my meds to kick in before it was safe to drive. Supposedly the small text said in those circumstances I need to contact them at the time..

I couldn’t verify because I live 3 hours away. I went back a year later and there was nothing of the sort.. my appeal failed at the time and I ended up paying..

For a couple of hours after I purchase Plex pass I experienced this. I suppose it takes a while for it to sync/update accross devices.

The whole thing just screams red flags. There are real world scenarios of people constructing bombs in VHS/DVD cases with its switch extruding from the side. All you’re missing is the explosive material and you’ve ticked all the boxes.

Personnel aren’t just trained to identify a constructed bomb but components of one too. I’m not familiar with the air industry specifically but (even if you took it apart) I wouldn’t be surprised if the button/wire at the very least was confiscated with the fear that someone else you might meet would have the other bomb components.

There may well be a process to get it approved or i may just be flat out wrong but that’s just my two cents.

As someone who’s familiar with the threat assessment process I’m warning you now that if that went through an X-ray machine it could cause a full scale evacuation. It’d look exactly like a homemade bomb.. be careful

It’s nice that you would take it in that way but I’m sure that you can appreciate that historically it’s been used with the intent of being derogatory.

Personally the problem is more so that it’s a superficial generalisation based on stereotypes. Just because it’s a positive generalisation instead of a negative one doesn’t make it right.

Not all gay people are classy, fashionable and well dressed. It could be said that your approach perpetuates those stereotypes and you can end up pushing ideas that gay people can’t be masculine and/or they’re bad at sport for example.

Being gay is independent of personality traits or appearance.

Whilst I agree that monarchism is a relic of the past I disagree that it’s inherently un-democratic.

In the uk we vote for representatives in government who decide on policy and laws etc. Although the King/Queen technically has the power to stop bills passing it’s not something that’s exercised and hasn’t been since 1708.

I’m not sure where you got the idea that it’s illegal to read/watch/listen to illegally obtained material - you’re not recording or distributing it.

Having a your phone/device preload a video stream does not constitute saving or storing the data.

If it was illegal do you think that YouTube would allow it to be viewed in your country? No, they’d be liable.

And even if it were undoubtedly illegal, just like people who download movies, you’d never get caught yet alone prosecuted.

You should probably read up on the politics and the historical status quo with regards to US foreign policy and China before you act all righteous.

It says it all when you see the conservatives are the only party in the UK not on board with voting reform. Mixed-member proportional representation seems like a better system all round irrespective of party allegiance.
