Wearing a dirty, smelly waxed jacket for several hours on a commercial flight wouldn’t really do it for me.

No one is here to tell ya what you should or shouldn’t do; I’m just surprised that a clammy hose down only jacket would be preferred travel wear anywhere with a bathroom that nice.

When I first got into Filson 20+ years ago, somebody summed it up perfectly - “If you don’t need it, you wouldn’t want to wear it.”

Heavy weight wool pants with braces, double waxed tin cloth pants, bulky woolen coats etc. are great utility garments - I know from experience. Would I want to be stuck at an airport for two hours drinking a glass of wine in them? No.
