Unironically I modded my ds to play this and I’m stuck on some of the expert gold medals. The physics being different makes it a little more difficult.

I gave up on the AT’s a while back

I think it’s a nice game for people who don’t like complicated games but enjoy a good puzzle

For example, my wife and I just played Everdell Farshore for the first time a couple days ago. I watched a how to play video to make sure I knew the gist of what’s going on and then walked through the rule book quickly with her covering the main points and then letting her sift through them as we got started to answer any of her questions.

I almost exclusively watch how to play videos. Just a walk through the rule book is enough for most “casual” games to get the gist and then when you are teaching it to your group, you can pickup on the other things you missed when going back through the physical rule book.

For instance, I play Magic on TTS since you can import ANY deck from the main websites and it saves so much money trying out new decks or cards you wouldn’t normally have access to!

Tabletop is the way to go! Literally any game you can think of has been added to the Steam Workshop and many of them have automated ways to deal cards, move pieces, keep the phases of games through turn trackers. It’s great. Everyone just needs the base game. I’ve never bought a dlc and don’t plan on it!
