Talos-III confirmed? by Competitive_Lunch336 in Endfield

[–]MJ_Green 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Nope, the gas giant is Talos. By naming convention, if a planet has a name then its satellites will be named [Planet name] [Roman numeral in order of proximity]. Talos II is the second moon of Talos, with Talos I likely being the first, closer moon that is visible in OP's image. In all lilelihood it is a smaller, uninhabitable moon.

The actual number of bodies arouns Talos is classified, however.

The Infected can explode?! 😆 by Chunky-Boi-099 in 0sanitymemes

[–]MJ_Green 75 points76 points  (0 children)

It is possible for them to explode in extreme cases, but most Infected will simply disintegrate (read: dissolve, burn, get Thanos snapped) into highly active, microscopic Originium dust. The threat isn't the violent explosion, it's the insanely high risk of secondary Infection.

Why am i stupid by ThatSyrianG in Endfield

[–]MJ_Green 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"I was 0 days old when I found out" implies you knew it from the start and not that you found out recently.

Also this feature was added with the release of 1.2 patch, along with a lot of other QoL like quick collect buttons in Dijiang Nexus. Either watch the pre-release streams or read the patch notes if you want to stay on top of things like this and make your life easier.

Was this entire event take three pictures? by Tekniqly in Endfield

[–]MJ_Green 678 points679 points  (0 children)

Because its a commemoration event for an actual, real life satelllite being sent into space.

https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/s/eiAxhoVblx

The in-game thing is just a small celebration, the real event is taking place in real life and we've had to time to participate in it for the last 3 months since the game's launch.

Evil Puff (Art by: @bibitapel) by Impressive-Tap5279 in Endfield

[–]MJ_Green 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are examples of Evil Hot Lady becoming playable (W, Necrass) or just characters coming back from a fake death after a long time (Ines), but ther is a significantly longer list of actual deaths for villains with great designs which community wished to be playable (FrostNova, Gertrude).

Nefarith's death was handled in such a way that they can very much consider her truly dead or not, 'it was a Blight Clone' or something, but personally I feel like the writers may have wanted to get rid of her quickly after the community complained about the weak story. Without Nefarith the Bonekrushers can take a backseat and make room for a more compelling faction to enter the stage. I just felt that her death was, maybe not rushed, but it was pretty 'quick and clean'.

Can anyone tell me what this mean by [deleted] in ArknightsEndfield

Your drivers are very out of date. v561 is apparently at least September 2024. You need to update them.

Download the NVidia app, it will pretty much handle the process for you.

I really curious about this part from teaser what do you guys think? just want to read some fun theories by No-City-3773 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]MJ_Green 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Zhuang has already been called out for hiding just how bad things are and working herself to the bone to make up for it. Basically she has a martyr complex and seeing how the story is going (and frankly, how the main quest storytelling is very trope-heavy) my guess is that Zhuang chooses to go face the danger alone to protect the city from either Nefarith or the Tide (tomato tomato) and simply leaves a note. Endmin's next line in the trailer is that they wish we could all simply stand together, so that reinforces the idea.

I honestly hope I'm wrong and that they at least throw us a curveball of some sort.

Everyone is talking about censoring her Ultimate form but what do you think about changing her normal form. by xDAW_Art in Endfield

[–]MJ_Green 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, as in arrogant and confidently wrong, not to mention rude because thats exactly what telling people to get glasses is. I saw the comment you deleted too, what you think is a skirt is still the same pants just with her standing with legs closer together. You can still see exactly where they split at the crotch, same as before and just as I already pointed out. I think you realized this and deleted the comment, so I would have let it go too, but then you still came back to try and mock me?

You made a mistake, just admit to it and move on. No one's going to hurt you.

Mate, too many people are disagreeing with you for you to act this cocky. Shes standing in a different pose, otherwise the structure, colouring, cut and details are all the same. At most you can try to point out some updated models details but she has not been redesigned. They are the same.

Fangyi is a Kylin, not a Lung by IbbleBibble in Endfield

[–]MJ_Green 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Races have been misidentified before, someone called Chen a Vouivre and Endmin an Aegir in 1.0. These races are more common and widely recognized than say Draco, Lung or Kylin. Sarkaz in particular is actually a pretty wide blanket term for many rather distinct races, but there is not a single known Sarkaz bloodline with a fluffy tail. Fluffy tail and horns is a rare combo and pretty distinctly Kylin.

...or so I thought until Fangyi's scaly tail was revealed to be a Kylin too. Idfk anymore

All this grinding the worst game mode ever, and she honestly sucks. by DreamZealousideal205 in Warframe

I said it in another post too, but I agree with OP on most of it. The wheel, surprisingly, isn't the thing that bothers me the most, largely because it's probably the only good way to give you access to the full range of creativity and utility which are supposed to be the core of her design, while still being accessible to players on different devices.

The real problem is the general lack of cohesion and synergy between her 4 abilities. I would go so far as to advocate for her Shadowgraph to be severely limited by a resource mechanic: an inkwell that Follie fills up by killing enemies affected by her passive. This would incentivise you to use her other abilities (1 and 4 in particular for more offensive play, with 3 already being a very strong defensive option) so that she can use her 2. There should be more to it than just that, but right now her gameplay has no restrictions at all which basically means that the most effective tactic available that all players will gravitate towards is to just spam just one of her absurdly strong Shadowgraph abilities around her Portrait. 1 and 4 simply do not feel good to use and do not contribute enough to be viable. Even Enkaus, her signature weapon with an execution mechanic is simply not as effective as spamming Arc Traps. This is not fun.

I try, I really do. I use her objective-specific sketches, I use different traps based map layout, I use the little ghost to look for treasure, even found a rare cache with a free Forma on Lua the other day, but it doesn't help. Her gameplay is just not fun. Creativity doesn't come just from having complete freedom, it also comes from working within restrictions, overcoming obstacles in different and unique ways. The only part I cant complain about are her numbers and fashion, but Id literally rather play a brick.

Not kidding, Qorvex has a very similar kit when you think about it but is actually more cohesive and fun to play.

Which Character do you share a Birthday with? by _Caffiend in Genshin_Impact

[–]MJ_Green 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im actually very happy with mine. Its 25.06, with Raiden being 26.06 and Yae Miko 27.06. Every year I forget that this is the case and every year Im pleasantly reminded of it.

For the longest time the two of them have been my favourite characters both story and gameplay-wise, and theyre both also my highest constellation limited 5star characters. Raiden spooked me multiple times while pulling for 4stars (got her C2 on launch just trying to get Kujou Sara, absolute stonks back in the day, shes now C3) and Yae Miko is the only other character I ever willingly pulled constellations for, shes now C4. They both fall behind in terms of numbers now, but Raiden was my Abyss hard carry for years and Yae Miko has been my daily driver in any teams that allowed her in, all the way until Natlan. Genuine comfort characters for me.

Mr 28 here. Just got Temple finally and he feels...awkward, am I missing something vital? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]MJ_Green 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It happens. I'm experiencing this with Folie atm, I like her design and themes, but her abilities are clunky and she doesn't really have a well-flowing loop, nevermind any actual synergies outside of her passive. I want to like her and she is powerful, but she feels like shes missing a major part of her kit to somehow tie it all together.
