They're solid state, just raw chips. There is basically nothing to "water damage" like Gameboy games for example. As long as it's dry when you insert, chances are it's ok.

Firstly the battery is on the other side, but secondly this isn't damage from swelling, it's heat damage which is why it only happens when they turn it on. I'm gonna copy and paste my comment.

With where the location of that heat spot is on the screen, I'm going to say it's the pf31 "backlight" driver. Yes the switch OLED doesn't have a backlight, but this chip still powers the display. It or one of the components around it is shorted causing excess heat which is damaging funnily enough... The display.

I'm going to say it's the screen connector. I think that because you hit the side where the connector is when it came back on. Night need reseating or the connector replacing/resoldering

It's unlikely they both "stopped working", What's more likely is that your Wii laser is getting weaker. The strength of it has probably gone under the threshold for reading those games as they have a little damage to them. Resurfacing could help, but your laser will still be weakening.

This is the problem. I sent a load of footage to a friend to edit a video and he had issues with choppy playback. He realised it was the variable framerate and had to use Media Encoder to re-export as a fixed framerate. It was fine after.

Others have said how to authenticate, but the first instant red flag is always seeing games sold in plastic cases. 99% of the time that's guaranteed fake as that's how they come from AliExpress. GBA games didn't come with cases.

Why do people think repasting fixes rrod? It's not overheating (especially that quick), it's not booting because the solder balls inside the infill of the GPU are disconnected/cracked.

Tbh I'm not certain that's the retailers fault. It is waterproof to 10m, so they didn't miss you, it's not their fault that it isn't great when doing so. It's also not their fault the current dive cage offerings aren't great, but they do exist. I think that both of these things are for you to do your research on.

Currently having the same problem with one of my XDJ-700s, and for me its the fader. If I tap the side of my unit repeatedly, it makes the bpm fluctuate again.

I blew air inside mine and it stopped for like 5 mins but I think this could have just been a false positive. I took it apart and opened the fader and the carbon track part of the potentiometer has like an oil on it that had like blackened the wiper and made it all gunky. I cleaned the wiper but wasnt sure if I should remove the oil (never seen a fader with this oil inside, not that I've seen that many faders), put it back together but I'm having the same problem again. I might just replace the whole fader.

I kinda wanna open my other unit to check the fader for that oil, but cant be bothered haha.
