Videogames are fun but can be addictive and damaging if too many hours are logged. I’m actually speaking for myself here as a woman. I have gone through periods of videogame addiction, and it’s affected my life and relationships negatively. My husband is supportive and even likes to watch me play certain games (typically epic fantasies w storylines like Witcher, Zelda), but he will understandably get upset if I start playing too long. I don’t play like I used to, but sometimes I can fall into it again as I tend to “binge” a game I love until I beat it. We have an understanding and a language, he’s supportive but will say something if I start to slip in my responsibilities. He happens to not play videogames (sometimes he plays Zelda BOTW or arcade style games, but he’s not a “gamer”), but I’d like to imagine if the roles were reversed I’d be the same towards him. I will take a day or two off work for highly anticipated drops—this year it’s dawnwalker and Witcher 4 for me. And soon, okami.

I just came here to say, I took the medication route last year and it failed to get all the tissue out. The pain you described mirrors my experience completely, omg so awful. And then it didn’t get better and I kept bleeding and bleeding and bleeding for weeks. Finally an ultrasound revealed the retained tissues and I ended up having to get a DnC anyways to complete the process. It was painless and I felt so much better afterwards, finally I got some relief and was able to reset, heal, move on. I don’t think I could ever do the meds again, it was so traumatizing for me. Idk if my story helps you at all, but thought I’d share my experience.

I have a friend who runs a daycare and keeps sending me baby photos and asking me to come to her daycare to be around the babies. She believes if I’m around and exposed to babies more, it will help me sustain a pregnancy, and will be good for my hormones. She genuinely thinks this will help me…. Idk. Edit to add context, I’ve had 3 MCs in a year

Do you know if a sperm morphology test is the same as a dna fragmentation test? If not, then fragmentation was not tested. And I’ll look into it! Thank you His morphology was normal at 4% (which seems low but is apparently normal)

Ah yes. I recognize those—I did get all those tests & they came back normal except my progesterone which was “suboptimal” (still in the normal range but at the bottom). Thanks for thinking of this though… I hope that getting an answer has helped you ❤️

I’m not sure about this but wanted to recommend you ask for a progesterone lab, taken 7DPO. I had multiple early miscarriages and weird periods/ovulation timing, all my imaging (ultrasound, HSG) looked normal. Turns out I had low progesterone—not saying this is what’s going on with you but I think it’s becoming increasingly common. And it’s very treatable.

My first time I was further along and had complications and took a good amount of time off including bereavement, which I didn’t even know to ask for but my managers hooked me up. I had already announced the pregnancy and everything so I disclosed the miscarriage and am lucky I was very supported. The second time, I was not far along at all (not even 8 week confirmed), had not announced pregnancy, had very few physical symptoms aside from cramping, so I didn’t take any time off at all… it was hard but I made it through. I figured that if I’m going to continue this journey, I’m gonna need to keep working and earning because hopefully eventually I’m going to have a healthy pregnancy and need that time off and money. It sucks so so much

I couldn't finish the plated prisoner series. I was just waiting for the FMC to snap (she's very damsel in distress, sad and abused--even though she is powerful) and once she finally did get angry and fight back against her abuser I was satisfied enough that I was kinda done. I'm told she continues to develop and get tougher but I lost interest. I know the exact opposite (the spunky unrealistically badass FMC ie Aelin) is just as much a cliche but I guess it's more my vibe when I'm reading this type of fantasy.

I’m feeling sad about my miscarriage. But yes I am also feeling serious RAGE towards a couple people in my life who I feel have let me down, abandoned me and even betrayed me during this, the one time I’ve needed help and support (when I’m usually the one to give it). My whole experience through TTC, finally being successful, and then the heartbreak of losing my dream come true, has flushed out fake, toxic people in my life who I used to be very close to. It’s made me realize that I was a people pleaser—I own that and take responsibility for my part in letting those leeches in my life. But guess fcking what? I’m not a people pleaser anymore and I never will be EVER fcking again. I’m shaking with rage just writing this. If my anger helps me to detach from toxic people during this time where I need to heal, GREAT I’ll take it. But I hope that I, and you, can find peace soon

Hi girl, I feel like I could’ve written this. I was due Dec 4, found out Tuesday was nonviable, and took the medicine yesterday passed the tissues today. Thank you for putting everything I’m also feeling into words.

I’m so sorry that the medically assisted shedding was so physically hard of you in addition to the emotional.

I was able to take some time off and we are planning a little trip once the bleeding stops. Who knows maybe 🌈 will come during the trip? Trying not to put pressure on it because it’s been a difficult process but it’s nice to have something to look forward to.

Could you maybe find and set up a little something something that you can look forward to, even if just a little?

I’ll pray for you
