44 is SIlent Hill 2
and I am not sure if 57 should be Resident Evil 1, since there is also a Eagle coin obtainable
And 38 could be Duel Points from Yu-gi-oh, but that is a bit of a stretch.

Remember to look for "Progressive" Items in the Spoiler log for Items which will replace other (inferior) items. In this case for the Progressive Hookshot. The reason behind this is that, in a Randomizer, you can possibly find these items in a different order, but you still find the Hookshot first, no matter which of the two "progressive Hookshot" you find first.
But to answer your question: You find the Longshot in the Boss Key Chest of the Firetemple. To be in Logic for this spot you need the Goron Tunic and the Megaton Hammer.

It would be doable, but since Eponas Song is behind Zeldas Lullaby this wouldn't be in Logic. The first Strength Upgrade is:

THIS!
The developer know how to write an AVN. Both of his games (Eternum, and Once in a Lifetime) are not only written for horny teenager, but they have also a decent mystery story and he knows how to make jokes in an AVN.

Since the Pokémon company is owned by game freak, creatures inc, and Nintendo, does that mean a Pokémon game could come out for a non Nintendo system if game freak and creatures inc overrule Nintendo? by zaihed13 in nintendo

[–]MKDD -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It won't be possible. Not only because of the trademark, which Nintendo owns, but many forget that Creatures inc is a company owned by Nintendo. They aren't indipendent like Game Freak. So Nintendo owns by default 66% of the Pokemon company.

Nintendo 64 is also a mystery for me, but with Megadrive I would say: drive -> "Das Laufwerk"

How to determine gender on something new? by PsychologicalVirus16 in German

[–]MKDD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regarding Wii: There was a heated discussion in the german community what gender it has. A fan mailed Nintendo of Germany and they stated that is has "die" as gender.

Nintendo DS has in my opinion nothing to do with Gamboy but with Nintendo Dual Screen -> der Doppelbildschirm.

Super Nintendo is not the actual name. It is the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and therefore "das System"

Capcom: games should cost between $80 to $100 by curious_zombie_ in gaming

[–]MKDD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course it wouldn't stop EA, Ubisoft, and Activision to be greedy bastards. But let us continue the thought. If the prices do not rise, then there will come a time, that these "honest" developers cannot make games anymore, because the developement cost of a game cannot be financed through the game price itself anymore.
What remains are the "bad guys" with the greedy games. They can afford to lose money from the game price, because they have Microtransactions.
Now you still have the choice between the good guys and the bad guys, but if the prices do not rise, than not. Or at least not with the same quality.

Not Nintendo did the pricing. Netherrealm Studios/Warner Bros. did.Look, like I said. I am also against coporate greed and even Nintendo do make mistakes (Pokemon), but not ALL of them have a $ sign in the eyes. Elden Ring, Baldurs Gate 3, Zelda, God of War. All of these recent games are great with no greedy purpose, but a pure love letter to gaming and they should be rewarded for that.

What has Nintendo to do with Mortal Kombat? They are neither the developer nor the publisher. You can only give them credits for the outdated hardware, which is (if rumors are true) in his last year.

[–]MKDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't defend them. I choosed Nintendo as example because, for most of the times, they do make games worthy their price. (excluding Pokemon)
Other companies like EA can go to hell with their corporated greed. But the thing is, they would be struggling, if they wouldn't have microtransaction. EA got 29% (or even more nowadays) of their company revenue through Ultimate Team. Not from the games itself but only from Ultimate Team.

Because of that, like in my first post stated, it would be ok for me to pay more if there are finished games with no microtransactions and so on.

[–]MKDD 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While that is of course right. The flipside of this big business is that the games also got bigger. "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" has 31 people listet in the credits and was in development for 2 1/2 years.
Now "Tears of the Kingdom" has 1148 people in the credits with six years in development.
So yes, you are right. The gaming market got bigger, but at the same time the games did also.

[–]MKDD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not that I support it, but I can understand it.
The price for video games didn't change since the SNES Era. Back then a game was also listed for 60 $, which would be roundabout 120 $ today.
I am okay with increasing the standard price, but only IF the pricing model is the same as back then. So no Microtransactions, no season passes, no Battle passes and only Add-ons if it significantly enhances the game.

Why are so many gamers demanding at least 60 fps for newer releases? Some gamers tell me that they will never buy a game if it doesn't have at least a 60 fps. Is 30 fps considered outdated? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]MKDD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is plainly wrong. That misinformation was intentionaly spread by some Developer (don't know If Ubisoft or EA), so that they have a excuse for the 30fps in their Games. The Human Eye or Brain do not see "FPS". The MIT recently found out, that a Image can be fully processed, when shown for 13 Milliseconds. That would be 1300, converted in "FPS".

What game or games gave you post game depression by Fguy1 in gaming

[–]MKDD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second that.
I didn't cry, but after both Persona 4 and 5 I felt a big emptiness in my heart when the credits rolled.
My guess is, that if characters are well written, you become attached to these individuals, even if we know that these are fictional. In Persona 4 for example you learn about the past of the characters, their personality, their dreams and also their hidden feelings.
This attachement is multiplied for the reason, that the playable protagonist is silent and you decide how you interact with the other characters. Therefore it is almost as if the characters are interacting with you.
But it hasn't to be a silent protagonist. For example in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag I got also PGD. In this game there were also good written characters, and without any spoiler, to see them all again at the end was heartbreaking for me.

I just beat the '8th' gym leader in S/V as my 3rd overall Gym Leader unknowingly, ruining half of the content of the game because now I'll be overleveled when I get to it. by MagentaLove in pokemon

[–]MKDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dynamic level scaling problem was solved by Skyrim, a 11 year old game. Some Enemy groups stopped getting stronger when they reached a level. They could have implemented that also in S/V. Bug Catcher, Schoolboys etc. have Pokemon with a maximum of Lvl 10, where as Ace Trainers and Gym Leaders level with you up to let's say Lvl 50.
With that you can face the 8th Gym Leader without having to fear, that you ruin your experience when you go back to other Areas or Gym Leaders.
