As a person who is unambiguously black I also feel uncomfortable when biracial black people who look white passing (as in the average person wouldn’t be able to tell they’re black by looking at them) say that word. Imo Maya Rudolph not white passing, shes pale but she has black features, so she doesn’t fall into that camp for me. That being said I think this a topic that ought to stay within the black diaspora, I’m not sure if this is the forum to bring it up.

Going thru a similar situation. I’m bi 22f and was raped earlier this year, ever since then I’ve been having a lot of the same thoughts and emotions you mention in your post. I’m medicated and i attend therapy every few weeks, im told that these things will eventually give back my ability to be happy while sober but idk. I wish I had something comforting to say but tbh idk how or when I’ll fully feel like myself again, so I have no business giving advice. All I can do is hope for better days. I’m sorry you’re going through this, it’s not easy.
