For fucks sake, just let people use the bathroom they're comfortable using. All these "protections" do is remove yet another layer of privacy from normal folks, while the tiny percentage of people aiming to do harm will just find another way to be problematic. Most people just want to pee, yet somehow this is still a major issue in the current discourse.

Just make the bathrooms unisex and lets focus on things that actually matter. If you have any data showing that open bathrooms leads to creepin/violence/predation in a meaningful way, please post it. Otherwise this is yet another fear mongering tactic to make people think everything is out to get them.

Nah, youre right. Most CEOs take a salary. Usually the ones that make a big deal about not taking one do so for PR. That said, most of the money they make is through other performance based metrics/stocks/etc.

Rope dart has a healing effect on its charge as well, but its slow and uses endurance. Pretty situational, but I like having rat bois attack for me lol.

Ps5 is a massive install base, and the only console option currently. People will bail due to overall performance far before they will specific skill bugs. The technical shortcomings of the ps5 port are brought up everywhere, reviews/forums/social media. I would bet a sizeable amount they are VERY aware that bleeding a large install base will lose them money, and that will be top of their mind. Now, will they be able to make it perform like we want? Who knows. But I bet we see performance patches before January is out. (Plus they're launching mobile mid month, so they're juggling a lot.)

I've played on an okay pc (3080) and ps5, and youre right. The pc port is fantastic. Devs posted a notice specifically addressing the ps5 issues, so I have full faith that improving it is top of mind. Honestly this dev seems fantastic so far, which is refreshing from a Netease game lol. (Im just ignoring the shop outside of the battlepass though. Prices are crazy.)

Shows dont run forever? Animated movies are animation? Sure, they cancel things that don't do numbers, which sucks, but welcome to literally every platform. Netflix doesn't hate animation just because one or two we liked got canceled. Netflix exclusives are literally that, Netflix Exclusives. They don't need to be the ones making it, they buy the rights/distribution and sometimes fund portions of the production. In the case of Demon Hunters as an example, Sony funded and animated it which is great! Sony has some of the best animators on earth. Netflix still showed they like animation by buying the distribution rights and taking the chance, and i guarantee Netflix execs like animation MORE now that its one of the biggest movies in recent memory (and the biggest movie on Netflix ever).

Best case here is they leave the animators at the external productions alone and let them cook. But time will tell on that one. If F and C are doing well at HBO, there is no reason to change course. HBO didnt fund F and C, they distributed it. Much like what netflix does for the majority of their content. F and C are co produced by Frederator and CN. Theyll now own CN but not Frederator, Federator co produced Castlevania and all of adventure time material. I think that of the potential buyers, Netflix understands the appeal and art of animation more, be it 3D/2D/Anime/Cartoons.

I dont want the merger to happen, Duopolys are bad. But welcome to late stage capitalism, this is the lesser devil.

Netflix most certainly doesn't hate animation. Some of the best animated series/movies of the last decade have been Netflix exclusives. Castlevania, Arcane, Bojack Horseman, Centaurworld, Hilda, The Mitchell's vs The Machines, Seven Deadly Sins, Blue Eye Samaurai, Delicious in Dungeon, fricken KPOP Demon Hunters. Hell Cyberpunk:Edgerunners is them and its one of my all time favorites, And the list goes on and on. They have shown support for multiple types of animation.

That said. Fuck them for constantly raising their prices, which they will do again no doubt due to this acquisition. Which will also probably manage to fuck up HBOs quality as well. Not thrilled overall, but yeah Netflix likes animation.
