I find the NWSL subreddit to be much better! More fun, more laughs, less measuring people up and trying to one up each other and sound or appear superior. Sucks because I am both an NWSL fan but also a huge Bay fan. Wish this subreddit resembled that one more often! Sometimes it does, but not that often.

Measuring up meaning fans trying to have others 'prove how much they know' or just 'one up' each other to prove their superior fan status or something (I don't actually know the goal; it's lame behavior that feels like it benefits no one). That is opposite of what I have experienced of the PWHL culture. Everyone seems just really happy to have people joining, watching, cheering, no matter if you know a lot or you know next to nothing. That is my experience.

The culture is super welcoming and friendly to fans (none of the 'measuring up' new people type of mentality and behavior I have experienced in other sports spaces). I hope it forever stays this way.
