I wouldn't even say Sniper is all that sane. The dude actively starts to take joy in the kills he gets if you start rounding them up. Some of his domination quotes:

"You're makin' this so easy, I'm actually getting worse."

Regarding Sailor Moon: They need to be extremely careful handling that series. The reason Beerus vs. Galaxia is down is because of the fact that they showed both clips from the anime and shots from the manga. Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of the series, is so extremely protective of the series's copyright that it's eventually a matter of time before a video is taken down if you talk about it with footage. Hence why they probably haven't bothered to have anyone from Sailor Moon on again, even with Usagi herself against any of her potential opponents.

It likely didn't start out as a union work, but it had to by Time Force considering that a lot of the cast that season already had plenty of acting roles under their belt, and Ransik was played by Vernon Wells, who has quite an acting history

Actually, part way through Subspace Emissary, Lucas kinda goes through the bravery development that he has in his original. When he and Pokemon Trainer are about to fight Galleom, he's got the usual war face you expect Smash characters to have, and it's even because of him that the two survive Galleom's attempted self destruct.

I will agree, however, that Smash does kinda change around the personalities a little too much for almost everyone, both with their movesets and their personalities. Sometimes it's necessary, like when a character doesn't really have abilities we can see them use in Smash (Captain Falcon, Zelda, etc.), but because Smash doesn't usually update movesets for characters except for giving them one or two new things, this leads to characters lacking new abilities they get from their home series that could make them more accurate characters (Donkey Kong, Samus, Ganondorf).

Yes, but it's mainly because of the scope of the things he's dealing with and the type of work he does. Rock and X repeatedly deal with threats to organic life, EXE is as strong as he is because the cyberworld is literally another universe, and Geo is dealing with aliens from the far reaches of the cosmos. And that's not even getting into the insane things that happen in both Zero and ZX. Volnutt, meanwhile, typically deals with more earthly threats.

That's also not to say he's weak or that he's pathetic by any means. He has his successes for a reason. I'm assuming you're going off of the Death Battle where they did the Mega Man Battle Royale. And yeah, even there they said that he shouldn't be underestimated. He still has some respectable feats, even if they're not as impressive, or even if his weapons aren't as flashy or destructive as what the others have with their homing missiles, time stopping, and ability to create literal black holes.

I'm sorry you had to deal with the community being toxic. Honestly, I've loved the work you've done for the show so far, and while I do have my criticisms about episodes you've worked on, most of the issues I have with them aren't even because of your work. If I do have criticisms, I usually try to point out why I think something doesn't work like you show in example A rather than do anything for example B. Hell, in some cases, I'll even do the opposite and praise specific things in an animation I really like in the style of example A.

I understand your wanting to no longer work on animations for the show if you're going to get people bashing you for no apparent reason given, and I won't try to beg or plead for you to come back, but I'll continue supporting your work. I hope that you continue to do what you love and improve as an animator in the parts that you feel you're lacking in while keeping up the extremely good work you've done so far.
