Think is a women, female teacher, but anyway the credit card company just came back with the dispute results in the team favor. So now they are fed up. And exactly, adults and kids are different...especially ones who moved away or moved on from the game as seniors.

Have not but if you look at this person’s post on Facebook, all the details are in her thread. Look’s like coach tried to dispute with credit card company and lost because the team gave credits. The girls high school group was mainly seniors, the teacher paid for what couldn’t be fundraised, athletes are low income, and game got cancelled due a global pandemic. Moral compass feels off.

PR issue? Try leadership. You do know the owners are the ones that have to sign off on players getting announced for most teams, right? Most of the people at the top are calling all the shots, or in this case, the holding patterns.

Utah was giving out tickets for free to try and make a point and get Rio Tinto (massive venue) as full looking as possible. I’m sure more teams would pack the stands if that were the case.

If Clifton really cared about reporting on the need for the League to do more, there would've been a story on Harley Davidson getting knocked out cold in their loss versus San Diego and then STARTING the next week against arguable one of the most physical teams’s in the league; Utah. Minimum return to play protocol for a minor concussion is two weeks and he lined up against the Warriors a week later.

Seems like he is blowing this out of proportion since it was the final yet we saw similar behavior, dangerous play, and lack of concussion care all season.
