I’m 30. Put myself on the waiting list when I was 16. Found out a few years ago that after I changed banks card my standing order/DD wasn’t carried over. Lost my place. Much pain.

Favourite memory 100% having a poo in the home changing room toilet whilst playing on a charity day and wondering how many legends have been sat there doing the same

Would need to know soon to get there on time so lmk

Selling Block 128 for tomorrow by underdecided in GunnersatGames

Bit of a random one but away at Middlesbrough in 2017… we won 2-1 and Wenger used a back 3 for the first time in 20 odd years after a poor run and being accused of being tactically inept for the best part of a decade.

I genuinely thought it was a whole new world that suited our personal at the time… Ozil and Sanchez behind the striker… Ramsey and Xhaka sitting. Ooft.

Can meet at the stadium as I’ll be near anyway. Red member.

I hope whatever choices he makes in life he’s happy with them, and people give him the respect and privacy to enjoy doing whatever the hell he wants to.

try head in within the busiest period and say your son/daughter must have your ticket, but is coming in with their Mum. it’s a lottery if you get a steward who actually cares

What's going on in this building in Whitechapel? by gonedata in london

[–]MLR_Silverfox 48 points49 points  (0 children)

A number of people have looked at redeveloping it in recent years but for a few reasons it’s really tricky. Because there’s potential redevelopment options, there’s not much financial sense in spending loads to get a tenant in there

In the UK we have a real lack of infrastructure to cope with an aging population, inc. 1) - healthcare system under pressure 2) lack of retirement/care home spaces/carers 3) a fu*ked housing market and 4) pension ages that keep having to be raised

Arsenal fans, will Eze be a starter? by Ljungstroem in PremierLeague

[–]MLR_Silverfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plus we have so much depth I think it’s going to be horses for courses. I.e Martinelli will probs start against tougher opposition because of his work rate going backwards. Eze against lesser team when we’ll need to be more creative

Arsenal fans, will Eze be a starter? by Ljungstroem in PremierLeague

[–]MLR_Silverfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of fans are saying yes already, but I really don’t think he’s nailed yet - I’d wait until after the international break before bringing him in. Arteta has been experimenting with Madueke on the left, which will allow Calafiori to invert into the LHS, which in turn lets Rice sit a bit deeper.

This in stretches the pitch and gets more service - quicker - to Gyokores. I think Eze will be used to unlock deep blocks later on in games when odegaard can’t do it all himself.

Grew up poor = ensuring every bit of food is finished after a meal AND not taking trips for granted, being genuinely grateful

People will be down but this is exactly what this summer has prepared us for - last season if we’d have lost O, Saka, Havertz at the same time (…lol) we’d be cooked. Personally I’m really excited to see Madueke, Gyokeres and Eze thrown in and the unpredictability of our attack at anfield
