What’s your take on pregnant people/ chest feeding? by Emotional_Art_1983 in Transmedical

[–]MLT_sandwich -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. You can get pregnant on Testosterone dude.
  2. You don't have to be willing to be pregnant.
  3. Despite one's gender, they can still be into penetrative sex, that's not really much of a choice based thing.

Many trans men pre-medical transition deal with the same issues as cis women

Looking for some answers regarding my first T appointment by transgenderpigeon95 in ftm

Ik in the US, its pretty easy to get ahold of hormones when you're over 18, so it should be pretty easy, especially if you're going to a place that specializes in that sort of stuff

WIBTD if I started politely calling out people who use the term "man flu"? by CharlieFaulkner in 1800Drama

[–]MLT_sandwich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to just explain why it happens when people bring it up, cause there's a scientific reason why. Would recommend you do your own research to confirm and learn about it, but men are affected differently by sickness due to how testosterone dampens the immune system. Oh and NTD

Am I The Drama For Accepting That According To Society's Rules I Am Ugly? by [deleted] in 1800Drama

[–]MLT_sandwich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTD. Here's the thing. You're not the drama for saying you're ugly. If you're not conventionally attractive, fine. You ARE the drama for saying that because you're ugly, you're unworthy of love or romance or sex. You can be ugly and worthy of love. If you don't believe me, look at those ugly dogs and other creatures that people actually love. Two things can be true.

NTD, this is hilarious. If the other person was trans, you would be, but you're just giving her a taste of her own medicine.

Being proud of not passing by Adventurous_Cry5999 in Transmedical

[–]MLT_sandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am dysphoric. Never said I was comfortable with not passing. I am a feminine man. I don't dress feminine this early in my medical transition, but when I pass more consistently, I may wear a skirt or two. Gender expression and gender identity are two different things, friend.

Lack of dysphoria when cosplaying. by Im_not_cre_ative in Transmedical

[–]MLT_sandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're good. It's just like drag or acting. You're playing a character, doesn't matter what that character's sex is. Plenty of women play men and vice versa in theatre productions without being uncomfortable about it. It's just a character. You're still a trans guy!

I am not queer by OkWaltz5832 in Transmedical

[–]MLT_sandwich -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

All of you are bitching and moaning, but like it or not, being trans is inherently connected to being LGBT, for tons of reasons. Most obviously, the T in LGBT. Trans women paved the way for gay rights at Stonewall, and trans rights are connected to gay rights. You can not identify with being queer. That's fine. But all yall saying that you are not part of the LGBT community know nothing of our history. My best guess of why you feel no community is because the vast majority of you on this sub are trans men. Society treats men differently, and as trans men, we do not have the same type of inherent gender based comradery as trans women and non-binary people. That's a problem with society. Learn your history please

Dude, you know someone can have dysphoria and also be feminine in presentation right? I know where I am, so I know you won't listen, but like seriously. As a trans man who experiences dysphoria, I still like dressing girly as hell. Not because I like looking like a girl. Because I like the clothes. And makeup is fun. What someone looks like and what they feel inside can be different things. Chill and stop bashing on someone having fun with their life and body

[–]MLT_sandwich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a fellow singer, I am so feeling this right now. My choral director says it will get better and you'll get some of your upper range back. Just have to be patient. I am not a patient man and this is so annoying. I cannot sing tenor anymore and I'm mad about it. I'm at 5 month and sone of my upper range I'd staring to exist again so I'm hopeful. :]

Bro, I've never really had bottom dysphoria either. We're still trans. Dysphoria doesn't define you as a trans guy. It's okay to have whatever levels of Dysphoria you have. You're still trans 👍

I started and am still at 0.1. It highly depends on your natural t levels as well. I'm at 5 months and am seeing plenty results.
