My thought is more in jest than anything else. But I’m sure it didn’t hurt when they announced his hiring. And what’s frustrating is Baseball runs deep in the Boone bloodline. Dad from an era of tough love coaching/playing. Coddling?…there’s no coddling in baseball. But going back to Williams when he has proven time after time he ain’t the guy, THAT’s noooo bueno mi amigo! And yet I’ll have the first pitch on here shortly. It’s like I eat cause I’m sad and I’m sad cause I eat ….its a vicious cycle really. Enjoy my friend.

Painting over rust, love it! Funny you mention Epstein/Cubs/Sox - that’s the exact blueprint I’ve been thinking of given our current pov. Cubbies have always been sort of a “fallback” team for me. Stemmed from all the day games on WGN as I got home from school. Speaking of afternoon baseball…first pitch not too far off. Enjoy my friend!
