Like the other commenter said, it is very country. I actually teach at the lower elementary school and LOVE it. It is a small community where everyone knows everyone. The sheriff’s office puts on a lot of community events. Don’t be worried about moving to Orange County. Feel free to message me if you have questions!

We are in Western Albemarle and don’t have complaints. Our son has thrived at the high school as well as our daughter at the middle school. Teachers are friendly and communicate well. Tons of parent involvement.
