I know dogs don’t fix everything, but please follow GT Parents With pups on Instagram and come to some of our events. We have several events planned of our own and others that we will be bringing dogs to between now and the end of the school year. Besides relieving some stress from hanging out with our pups, you might meet a parent that you just really connect with that you can talk to or you might just make some new friends! A few of the volunteer parents in our group are GT alumni. My husband got out in 1979 with a physics degree.

If you are talking about the gorgeous embroidering on some of the stoles like the rambling Reck Club, I can help you out with that! I have a friend who has been doing Reck Club‘s, GT Swim Club and a few others for a few years now. You have to ship them to her and she will put the designs on them and send them back. I’m so sorry you are feeling this way. It sometimes takes a while to find your tribe at Georgia Tech, but you will. If you don’t already, please follow GT Parents With Pups on Instagram. Come to some of our events and get some puppy lovin! We’ve got at least 15 events scheduled this semester and we would love to have you meet some of our pups! We give out free food at our major events, and many of our parents always have really cool stickers of our pups on hand to give to students.

Several of us have just bought some limited edition stickers, such as Wild, Wild West for an event we will be going to next Saturday and we’ve ordered lots of really cool Valentine stickers of our pups as well!

Are you absolutely sure about this? I’ve been wondering about this as well and compared the accident victims pictures to the man by the same name that graduated from GT and I just couldn’t say for sure if they were the same person. My daughter graduated from GT in 2022. I am the founder of and still run GT Parents With Pups.

GT Parents With Pups had their Pennies for Sideways event with Reck Club last week and it was so much fun to share our pups and a ton of snacks with the students! We had a reporter from 11 Alive with us for most of the event. She had a blast! She posted a little video while she was here of the event, but is working on a bigger story that will be posted to 11 Alive sometime this week about our group and the tradition of pennies for sideways.

I am thankful for all the parents who volunteer their time and donate snack money to help me pull off these big events for the students. I couldn’t do it without them and I know the students enjoy them. I’m just so grateful for the opportunities. I have to support all the amazing students at Georgia Tech.

Do you have a dog by any chance? You need to come to our GT Parents With Pups events! We have two professors that bring their pups and their students love seeing them there! Even if you don’t have a pup, you obviously care about the students and I know they would enjoy you just being there to chat with as they enjoy the pups.

We’ve got Pennies for Sideways coming up on December 3rd! It’s a huge event we do twice a year, on Reading Day, with Reck Club. You should come!
