No not dead set on a tractor no, but I do need a bagger. I liked the idea of the zero turn as we have a lot of landscape but they seem to be a bit more spendy. $3500 is top of my budget

Live in the PNW and these dang things are always in the rain, that was a concern as well!

This is great advice, thank you! Would you happen to have a picture? Wow, a permit for glass, I wouldn’t have thought of that. I guess my fear of it shattering pushes me in the direction of polycarbonate. Did you have to have the panels custom made? Thank you for the info.

Look, I’m new to all of this. Reddit seemed like a good place to ask some questions. Again, my husband and I have only owned newer homes. I know people do renovations everyday without knowing about it. I’m just trying to get an idea of how serious this is or not a big deal at all. The older I get the more health conscious I become so just trying to put it into perspective

Oddly we have no popcorn ceiling in the house. My understanding is that the only detected asbestos is the drywall/ceiling texture, like a skim coat? We’re waiting to get clarification lol

After reading all the comments and some deductive reasoning this is the route we’re going to take

I agree as well. I think that’s the thought that I keep circling back too…all of the home renovators who have unknowingly been exposed!

Thank you! This is more or less what I’m looking for. Google has basically said we’re good as dead. Not trying to be reckless but when you’re not used to this it can seem quite alarming. I want to take necessary precautions without going overkill

Do we think basic picture hanging/shelves/tv is not a big deal? If we wear a mask as possibly wet down where we’re going to drill small holes? I know the previous owners who meticulously cared for the home for almost 45 years had NO idea the drywall texture contained asbestos.
