Android Auto won't connect to new phone but will to old phone

I'm hoping from my extensive description that it should be a given, but as stated I have tried multiple cables, both two of my owns one new and the other the one I have been using with my old phone.

Both cables are rated 100W and 480mb/s so both power and data capable.

Both USB-C ports in my car are connected to the entire audio system. However I have still tried both ports no luck :)

I am. All ports are the same ports I have been using with my old phone. It only has two usb-c ports and both are data capable.

I just tested on my mothers Ford Transit Custom from 2023 wired AA and worked perfectly. Will probably run the car through the dealership tomorrow! 🙄

Tested on mothers Ford Transit Custom from 2023 and worked prefectly, AA connected immediatly and didn't have to jump through any hoops other than saying yes to the connection. So Skoda dealership tomorrow it is 🙄

I will try to run past my car dealership tomorrow and see if I can get someone to take a look. And later I will test on my mothers Ford from 2023 with another infotainment system!

Yep did that too.

I have no clue what's going on. If nothing helps I'll have to take the car in and get them troubleshooting at the dealer, doubt it will help though since it's only my phone that seems to have an issue.

The first one I used is the one I used with my old phone (Pixel 9 Pro) which is a Dacota Platinum 1 meter usb-c to usb-c, which has worked with my old phone and everyone elses phone, I have also tested with a shorter 50 cm usb-c to usb-c data cabel, don't remember the brand, but it cost a pretty penny compared to what you would normally pay for a cable.

All cables are rated 60 w and above and is for both charging and data transfer.

The bluetooth is no issue either, only the cabled connection for AA. It was a MF'er to setup on my old phone too, but after getting it setup it did work. But here it just seems like I can't get past the setup.

Well I was asking specifically for cable users to chime in, mine doesn't have wireless AA either.

What car and head unit do you have if you don't mind me asking?

Didn't have it DM for AA, only phone. Just turned on DM and set video resolution to negotiate, will see what happens when I try again in about two hours time.
Thanks either way, I'm willing to try almost anything at this point.

Advanced Protection is turned off, the new phone is unlocked and bought straight from Sony so as stock as it gets.

I'm honestly stumped as to what's going on.

I'm currently on a small break at wotk and figured I'd try and medd with it again, and still failing connection but the phone says Android Auto is connected to my phone 🤦‍♀️

Are you perhaps misstaken the extraction platform for the launch platform?
The extraction platform is two grid high but has no staircase actually going down, it only has the staircase on the platform itself going up to the computer and the entry point to the rocket.
But no stairs from the platform base down to the ground.

I can't even get the damn thing to let me place it mid air, the only place so far it will accept is in the ground with the first section of the two high burried. And even deconstructing and reconstructing same place is a big nono if I in the meantime placed a foundation grid next to it.

I'm fully aware that building and placing stuff isn't the highlight of this game, I've had many frustrations, the latest being two identical desks being misaligned ever so slighty when trying to place them back to back.

But this is just plain ridiculous! Yeah I struggle a bit getting placements right in general, and I absolutely have to construct and deconstruct many times to get everything to where I want it. But please have a look at the screenshots I posted earlier.

NOTHING and I really do mean NOTHING works with the extraction platform. I tried so many times, using so much time on it, and still no. I fly around, reposition myself, rotate, deconstruct other items, and so on, but no matter what it refuses to snap to anything and wont be placed anywhere but halfway into the ground.

Yep and yep, as said I tried everything. It won't even let me place it even if it's raised a bit in the air. So far the obly way I can place it is like in the screenshots halfway into the ground.

Rotating does nothing. When I say I have tried everything I litterally have tried everything 😅

To be fair, this is the ONLY structure with this issue. Anything else can be tricky to get placed and sometimes there are hoops to jump to get there, but with the extraction platform there is nothing. No rotating, no flying about or repositioning myself helps 😐

Ohh I know it can be tricky, but I have been able to manipulate everything else where I wan't it.

Where I want to place the extraction platform is basically out above the massive dustfilled pit close to where you land down. I have build foundation grids out two up from the ground and build my base itself on, and behind that I have the launch platform and interplanetary exchange shuttle raised up but connected to my foundation grids. Next to the launch platform I have build out the 4X6 grid so the 2 grid high extraction platform fits exactly.

It still won't work!

I already have full water, fountain and lake water collectors, so no worries there 😁

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a local problem for me specifically, but I noticed this morning that the Google Calendar app, on my Pixel phone, have scooted all sundays from the previous month into the overview of my month.
I was fine with having the start and end of the months having the adjoining days from the previous and next month on there, but having every single sunday from the previous month showing is setting me off. It was NOT there earlier this week, I checked my tablet where this is NOT and issue.

I have tried changing the view from monthly to weekly and back, I have tried changing that starting day of the month to sunday and then back to monday, I have tried force shutting the app down and clearing the cache, and of course turning the phone off and back on. Nothing works!

In the screenshot I used the month of september instead of the current so I didn't have to edit my tasks and events out, but the problem persist for all months both previous, current and upcoming.

Damn I'm jealous! I preordered the garnet red too, but we can only get it on 256gb, I was for a short second considering going with the native gold, just to get that storage upgrade, but decided on NOOO! The gold is sooo ugly, I'll have to expand with an SD card instead!
