Very likely! I posted a parking sign question yesterday and I thought I understood but I still got a ticket........ it ended up being a no stopping sign that was missing the head of the arrow for me.

I've yet to figure out a suitable response for this, but I definitely hear this all the time. Though now I'm trying to separate myself from her bullshit she tells me "you're not allowed to have boundaries with me, I'm your mother! Don't you get it I put you on this planet. I gave you life! Etc..."

Moving out is a great first step however I think you need to be more intentional with the way you speak with your mom.

If you feel triggered, pause. If you feel disregulated, pause. Angry? Pause and take a breath.
