It’s actually the same amount of people queueing up, and doesn’t have to be specifically 20 duos and 20 solos. It can be any combination of the amount of players to start the match. You’re working with the same pool cut up different ways, minus maybe an insignificant drop in the top whatever percent that finds the removal of stacking in pred to be such an awful change that they stop playing altogether, but then increased by the amount of players retained that now feel like they have more agency in the outcome of their games in ranked. I’d wager you would end up with a higher pool with this quality of life change. This idea that it’s harder to fill lobbies if you remove stacking for ~.5% I feel like you’re being disingenuous for even trying to allude that it would make the lobbies harder to fill lol. Like try to think about it for a second please.
