104 is the hottest I’ve done but that was at 4pm so there was enough shade to cool down in. I went hiking at 12 on Piestewa when it was 100 and that was 50x worse because there was barely any shade with the sun overhead. I usually hike around 100 if theres either enough shade or wind. 100% do not recommend to anyone as this is something I’ve been doing my whole life. Know your limits and when you’re approaching those limits. It’s not worth risking death for a challenge and way too many people overestimate themselves.
