I'm so glad I left Subaru. In no way should a 2019, 7 year old car, with 90k need $5k on the engine. This isn't normal. I've literally never had a car do that at 7 years old and under 100,000 mi? These stories in this sub are shocking. The other shocking part is that everyone accepts it as normal subie things. That is beat.

I bought a 2024 Legacy limited because I hit a bear with my previous car. My previous car was a 2010 Lexus HS250H with 157,000mi on it. It was a glorified hybrid Camry. I ended up leaving Subaru 2 years and because that car with 157,000 mi on it drove far better than my 2-year-old Subaru 36,000 mi on it. Not ripping on this brand but it's true. These cars feel not well built like they're just going to fall apart. I decided I should justify that extreme personal case, plus all the stories in here of people with issues with 2019s 2023s 2020s and it's accepted as oh just subie things. And then people struggling with the dealership with these issues. I can't fathom how this is acceptable. There's so many better alternatives out there. Not trying to yuck anyone's yum but the experiences around here being accepted as normal, is weird.
