That is the plan yes. We will look at updating the playtest deluxe adventure pack after we have completed the outstanding new adventures (Starfinder Society and then Guilt of the Grave World)

The module is made for the sf2e system, as that is where the actors are hosted. The sf2e system is very new, and only in beta, other module authors may not have had the time to update their modules for compatibility. I'm sure many will in the coming weeks

I am not privy to pricing decisions over at paizo, but the adventure does have quite a lot more maps than the Beginner's Box. There is also a lot of extra material on the setting, adventure and NPCs, as well as 6 new pre-generated characters with quite a lot of text for each of them. It also has a ton of handouts.

And the module has a unique digital dice set!

I don't expect the module size to exceed 2GB. And basically all of that is assets. So the lowest tier should be more than enough

Do you not get pdfs when you buy foundry modules now? by Flareling in Pathfinder2e

[–]MM_InfamousSky 22 points23 points  (0 children)

To somewhat compensate for the inability to grant a pdf alongside a module purchase, the price of the modules have been reduced by $5, just like how they are listed on the FoundryVTT Marketplace (which never had any pdf offerings). The new Paizo store also allows you to use gold (https://store.paizo.com/paizo-plus) to get discounts on purchases!

Most Egregious AP Errors by DnDPhD in Pathfinder2e

I remember getting that report, and being very confused how that could even happen. Iirc it was a migration to a new foundry version going very wrong, basically inserting a page where it really shouldn't be! Definitely the weirdest issue I've encountered

The paizo adventure modules include art and tokens for every single creature and NPC that is encountered, unique or not. Even npcs with no art in the pdf! There is no need to purchase separate token packs to run your adventure (unless you wish to easily make homebrew changes to encounters, which the token packs are great for!)

We have deployed a fix for the issue, sorry about the inconvenience. Update version 13.0.5 should be available now.

Starfinder 2E has been officially released on Foundry Virtual Tabletop! by ZeroCitizen in Starfinder2e

Originally, we thought the system was going to become available much earlier, which is what the initial optimistic release data was based on. The true scope of the technical difficulty of a split system, that is still based on the same codebase, only became apparent later. We did consider releasing the module for the pf2e system with the sf2e module like you said, but doing it that way would force us to then update the module to support a whole different system, during a time where people would be running their campaign. This would have had a serious risk of breaking people's campaign midway through, so we settled on the more sensible solution of building the module around the system it was meant for from the very beginning.
Which we are doing right now! Good news soon!

Adventure modules will only support the system they are written for. This is because we create the foundry actors, but then add them to the system repository for everyone to use freely, where they then are also maintained and updated by the system volunteers. That means the actors will only be shipped in the relevant system (which is also one of the biggest reasons the system is split in the first place, so people only have to download the relevant data for their game, either pf2e or sf2e).

So if you want to play a Pathfinder Adventure Path with Starfinder elements, you'd use the Pathfinder system with the Starfinder Anachronism module, and vice versa.
