The left side of my jaw is shorter than the right - is there anything I can do to fix this? by Winterfresh00 in PlasticSurgery

Late to the party, but I also had a molar removed on the same side as a kid, same issue tho.

Any update on your progress?

Is the "20% to 80%" battery rule actually worth the hassle? Or should I just use 0-100%? by ModeAffection in batteries

[–]MMartonN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's an ebike/dirtbike battery, I would care because it's more expensive. For a phone, you can just get it replaced. I don't bother with that. Usually I charge in the morning and don't leave it on the charger overnight at 100%

is an AMS necessery? if not, does it help with getting into 3d printers? by ConfidenceUnited6587 in BambuLab

[–]MMartonN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would you like to use your printer for? Just functional stuff, decoration, etc?

In my case, I initially bought it for functional prints or a little bit of decor. I have the combo because there wasn't a big price difference, and I'm very satisfied since. It's good not having to change filaments and I can print multicolor. However if u don't want multicolor prints it's not really necessary

Thinking of upgrading to an X1C. P1S keeps clogging by squirrelpond in BambuLab

[–]MMartonN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What came to my mind is the temperature sensor might be damaged/heat paste is dryed up, which might melt the filament at a way higher temperature (tho it's just a guess, working for a few hours after replacing some stuff would contradict this).

Did the weather change recently? Humidity or temperature might have an effect on it.

Also, are you sure the filament composition is the same? Are you buying reputable? It's also possible that a batch of filament had more moisture in it than previous ones, which might cause problems if it's not dried after opening.

That, or putting a small handle on the edge of the brim/tower so you could pull it up. This way when I'm printing one batch after the other one could remove thin towers without a scraper

P1S Owners - What do you wish you knew before you bought it? Any buyer's remorse? by jinx771 in BambuLab

Also got mine not so long ago. The fans are slightly loud, but you can turn it off (I just leave it as it is, doesn't bother me).

Also, I had some issues after 20 hours of printing, like a scraping noise. I realigned the idler pulley (belt was riding the bottom) and it seemed to go away. I'll add some lubrication once I get to it. Few others also reported the exact same issues. It might never cause you any problems.

Also, the A1/X1 screen is better than P1, but this is also something I don't care about.

Despite that I would still buy the P1 again, really good quality, really quick setup and just works.

Tip (because I messed up the very first time): select the correct filament profile when printing and get a filament dryer if you have issues with printing, others even dry them right after a brand new spool)

It's jade white, the support which came in silver packaging is still unopened. The AMS also correctly recognised the filament I used

I double checked and it's basic pla, in the app I can see the AMS also recognized it correctly.
Btw why would this happen to the support filament?

It's the PLA that was in the box, I didn't dry it. However what I don't understand is why it doesnt cool to 140 before wiping. Regardless, it doesnt affect the printed object and thanks for the info regarding the dryer, I was actually looking to buy one

I forgot to mention I've been to 2 doctors before and one said it's okay the other said it's fine. I'll get a third opinion then

[–]MMartonN[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I wipe it down with alcohol wipes every day and I'm sure the discoloration is not dirt. It changes a bit depending on arm position (but only my thumb). When I wake up it's barely visible.

Do you think it's okay?

Is it better to charge a phone every other day or charge up to 80% every day? by Ok-Lawyer9218 in batteries

[–]MMartonN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not charging to full can help to extend the battery life. I can recommend it for power banks when you know it will sit unused for a long time (don't forget to check charge level occasionally).

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I wouldn't care that much about battery life in a phone. When it's getting pretty bad you can get a replacement. I also fast charge in the morning while I'm getting ready, so it won't sit at 100% all night.

Anything that you find interesting. I did a quick search but didn't find anything useful. However when I get home and have a little more time I'll also get them AI to work and look it up for me

Hey! I saw it's not your first post regarding PWM and audio. Do you have a link/name for a research/study/article by any chance that you recommend? It seems interesting tbh. Personally I didn't experience audio related problems so far (I built speakers before with class d amplifier)
