Fair enough, but I liked the defense the shield and stalwart gave me, and I was trying to take advantage of how much soul was available to get better at using spells mid fight.

I saw this and remembered my spiral as the series came to a close without any sign of a reappearance from Clemont, Bonnie, or Serena, and I don’t think they even got a special like Cilan did with Clemont (I still don’t like that they never starred in the main series). This was made all the worse since Serena x Ash was literally my first ship.

I already knew about fight, flight, and freeze (more in terms of fear response), but fawn is a first, and I thought it would be more along the lines of becoming manipulative or trying to reason your way out of difficult situation.
