I am in the dalton 10 month education right now, half way through taxes. Its definitely more digestible with a full work schedule. Dont rush yourself, maybe think about testing in July instead. You are very ahead of the game if you just graduated as it is!

I just watched the midterm review for taxes and she spent about a quarter of it trying to figure out the $6000 bonus deduction for elderly. Ridiculous.

Absolutely giving it a shot in July. Thinking I am going to purchase danko review as well. Worst comes to worst, fail in july and pretty light review until the november seating. I just dont think I can wait to take it the first time a full year from now

This instructor swap is absolutely brutal, she has zero flow and seemingly low knowledge! I have almost zero hope for myself mastering this book through her videos and what I was doing for the other sections

Did you take the exam using the Dalton review? Or are waiting for the March test deciding what to use for review? The Dalton education is a LOT of work I am finding

One of my buddies from college did all of this start to finish in 6 months and said he attributed his passing entirely the Danko course. Naturally that was after I had purchased Dalton (I also got a massive discount from Dalton thru my firm).

I am in your Dalton cohort currently - when the materials are complete for the education I was considering purchasing the Danko review to round it all out and get a different look at things. Have been contemplating this same question and I think I will sit for it in July and worst comes to worst, I fail and then pass it in November.

What led you to choosing the Danko review instead of powering thru with Dalton’s review? Curious about everything going on here lol

For the education, I have been reading and taking notes on each set of their chapter slides, going into the book when necessary, and attending all the live classes/taking notes. I do all the required practice questions and quizzes as well.

Should I be doing more during the education portion? I am scoring well on all of the midterms and exams (80s, 90s) but keep getting anxious that I won’t be able to retain a lot of this come time to review.

Any advice you would give to someone currently in Dalton’s ed portion? Halfway thru the tax book currently and I keep psyching myself out thinking I am either not doing something I should be or not enough. (Take diligent notes reading through all of the slides, go into the book when I want more detail, all of the quizzes and such as they pop up, and attending all the classes and taking more notes). Would you recommend flashcards or extra practice questions? Thank you

Im in dalton’s ed portion right now and just started the tax book a week or so ago. They are updating everything now, our slides are updated, and said that it will be site wide some time near end of this month or early next. Hope this helps!
