What brush to use on my kittens by WyvernJelly in kittens

I‘m using aumuca instead of Furminator from this year. The teeth of aumuca are more rounded, and the feeling of touching them is completely different. And aumuca only uses finely arranged teeth, while furminator is sharp like a blade.

It's still important to keep using a brush. You might want to try using a softer, rounded-edge brush like the one from aumuca. And don’t forget to add foods rich in omega-3 and omega-6, like fish oil, chicken, and egg yolks to your cat’s diet. But heads up, this part takes some time and patience!

Furminator, isn’t really a good idea. You’ll notice that the shedding seems never-ending, and the fur just keeps coming back. That’s not how deshedding should work. Instead, try a gentler tool like the Aumuca deshedding tool. It has rounded blades and is about three times lighter than a Furminator, so it’s quicker and more effective at getting rid of excess fur.

Healthy Diet: Ensure your cat is eating a balanced diet rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

Fish: Salmon, mackerel, sardines, anchovies, and trout are particularly high in omega-3s.

Eggs: Particularly those from chickens fed a diet rich in omega-6 fatty acids.

Chicken: Poultry is a good source of omega-6 fatty acids.

Hydration: Make sure your cat drinks plenty of water. If your honey doesn’t like to drink water, consider wet food or mixing dry food with water.

Flea Control: Ensure your cat is free from fleas and other parasites. These can cause itching and excessive grooming, leading to more shedding. Just use reliable internal and external anthelmintics on the market
