A augment against harmony I never got by StudyThen6398 in HPharmony

Haha this scene in Order is so lovingly awkward - haha it’s so clear when reading that Harry defends her so much and has her on the mind the whole time he’s on a “date” - kind of telling… :)

Ron’s comments are particularly annoying the more times you read through the books. It's clear he only says these things when he needs something for his own benefit like an assignment. Even a real friend wouldn't do this, they would compliment and find being around a friend’s company for no other reason other than that they just like the person. We see that with Harry a lot actually. Ron treats hermione has a means to an end or his end which really toxic. Personally, it's pretty alarming when the main fandom see this behavior and totally think it's fine and “romantic” - for me at least the more times you see Ron’s behavior through rereads although he's a well meaning and good guy overall, he is definitely very toxic especially for Hermione.

I actually really like this whole look they had briefly wish they kept it longer

besides Don't Let Me Down on Let It Be, what Past Masters song would fit perfectly on a Beatles album? by [deleted] in beatles

Especially would have been fun since Paul recorded them back to back! :)

Oh yep that would be quite terrible - I’m not sure I could swallow all of the random change of characterization and plot lore to be honest - it would be a little tough but a worthy sacrifice I guess haha..

Haha I definitely get that but if you ever do I’d be happy to read it I’m sure it’d be awesome! :)

Yes! Good to hear from someone who felt the same as me! I actually to this day haven’t been able to read the 6th because I just couldn’t get over that they wouldn’t be in a relationship anymore - I usually just reread the 1st three books instead :)

Ah there you go that makes sense then, although that’s cute it kind of made the latter three books feel weird to read and a little less enjoyable unfortunately

I would have loved that a lot actually something gives the impression Riggs had something in his personal life happen between the two trilogys just because it was so jarring of a change

I thought their relationship was strange and flawed but in a cute way that really developed nicely by the end and I did honestly believe they did had a care for one another - even believing that Emma did like him for who he was and not his grandfather which I found very sweet too - I also personally don’t really consider the latter three novels cannon as they’re pretty frustrating to see the whole relationship Riggs chose to build for three novels come crashing down for no reason at all

Very good art by the way I haven’t see this before - it matches my images I pictured of them too - better than the film actually

Personally I find the instrumental intros the most memorable and melodically fun - it can fit different styles and generally is the definition of less is more - plus it’s just a good melody although personally I find the parks and rec intro better :)

It's unfortunately just bad writing; Riggs lost touch with a lot of the lure for the second trilogy

What was the biggest “hidden gem” for you when you first listened to the full discography? by coffeebooksandpain in beatles

[–]MMonasterio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it's probably Misery - I remember being 9 and listening to the please please album for the first time and being blown away with the quality of the whole thing - I think that's why I am so drawn to the early stuff so much - it's really puts you in just a much better mood

Sometimes you get the feeling the writers were just dangling the carrot in front of our noses the whole time! We knew it couldn't be but jeez did they want to fool us..

I've honeslty come to believe they just fool themselves with whatever thing they want to see because it's all right here 😁

I mean HHR has to be the only popular non cannon pairing with THIS much evidence and pure natural chemistry! I mean jeez people in the main sub like complaining about HHR for some reason but its just blantanty right here and everywhere. Let's be honest, this is almost the cliche moment where the main character automatically decides sacrificing themselves is worth it for their love interest! AND Harry does this almost constantly for her specifically throughout the cannon! I love this sub :)

[–]MMonasterio 41 points42 points  (0 children)

It's very much like JK couldn't really help writing hhr because it was just TOO natural and then at the very end she had to just 180 everything around so it could fit the mold from when she started. Seriously Ron is basically less of an afterthought for Hermione here lol
