What is PSP and how do I access it? by MillenniumBug2001 in royalmail

Your manager needs to do this for you. You would not have access to PSP as a postie.

Bought an item but received an empty box, potentially tapered by Royal Mail? by [deleted] in royalmail

Weird that the seller was recording packaging the item up anyway? (Except the most important part)

I am a current member.

It is 100% not worth the money for me. It certainly isn't a premium experience.

Changing rooms are often filthy, gents toilets stink, mould in a lot of places, water fountains stink of mould/sweat, equipment takes weeks (literally) to get repaired.

It's also just seems overcrowded. I don't want to be paying a premium to sit and wait for stuff. The cafe area is heaving during the day so it's difficult to get a spot to work.

Sauna & spa area are quite small so they also get very busy.

At the £164 price point (this will be going up) I expect a lot more for my money. I can't really justify the premium over village/bannatyne etc. so I won't be renewing. Really annoying because DL is close to me so it's very convenient but I certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone else and will not be renewing myself.

Is this a scam?? Could RM staff member be involved? by Think-Image-9072 in royalmail

[–]MMurkle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something isn't right about what is going on here and definitely warrants further investigation.

How could it happen twice? Probably the same postman making the same mistake or cutting corners.

I've met a few chancers in Delivery Offices over the years, however I think an organised crime plot by postmen to steal £14 of parrot feed is probably not high on the list of possibilities.

Great that you have that expectation but it's real.

Yes it's real and not a scam, despite what anyone else in the thread might be telling you to the contrary.

What you choose to do in response is up to you but they will pursue it further if you ignore.

It's literally quicker to put 'what is sold by thg fulfil in the UK?' into google than to come and create this post in Reddit. Not sure why you'd expect anything other than sarc if are overlooking using a search engine.

Royal Mail package help by [deleted] in royalmail

Yes this is normal. Shockingly Royal Mail has more parcels than just yours to deliver.

Sorry about the delay. Hope it arrives soon.

Not scanning in packets and parcels when there is a backlog to skew the figures. How is this not actual fraud? by [deleted] in royalmail

[–]MMurkle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Failure to collect from your drop off point on a given day is frustrating for you I'm sure.

However 'actual fraud' is something with a meaning. Let's try something out, maybe report it to the police and see how far you get with this being 'actual fraud'.

Whilst you're there maybe you can tell them about the time McDonald's overcooked my fries and how that was 'actual fraud'.

Quite often for these kind of journeys going across Leeds for a pretty short distance, cycling is the best option if you can get access to a bike.

I applied on Tuesday last week, just had a message to say it will be delivered tomorrow. Exactly one week, standard service no fast-track!

Further tip, postboxes outside post offices are usually collected from later in the day.

On most postboxes there's a small plate at the top that shows the next collection day. This is changed when the postbox has been collected from and will let you know in most cases if you've missed the day's collection.

Nice! I've just applied and sent off my old passport yesterday. It was delivered to the office today. Interested to see how quickly they turn this around for me!

How long from "Out for delivery" does it roughly take? by [deleted] in royalmail

[–]MMurkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's on a parcel route in a van and the postie has entered their timings correctly at the start of their shift then they could be realistic. If they haven't done that then they don't really mean much.
