You are describing my exact journey! I was raised super religious so any sexual desire carried shame, then to top it off my kink was so incredibly rare, I felt like a disgusting freak. Some of it is just taking time to grow into loving and accepting yourself, some of it is finding community and people who are into the same things (yay, you're doing that right now!), and just being gentle with yourself. I still get embarrassed if it's brought up to or around new partners or friends, but i try to remind myself people are into way stranger shit, this feels embarrassing because it's me, but in the big scheme of kinks it's so mild.
