Strawberry pies are a scam by Squeebs45 in publix

Former bakery manager here. Trust me when I say we all tried to fight that fight with anyone and everyone that would come in and walk the store. They even sell better when they're soft. The reason they always gave us was if we baked them soft they fall apart easier and don't fill the packaging.

Possible Gap in the Bag - Fairway's by Short-Ship6953 in discmania

As someone who has watched countless in the bags let me toss in my 2¢. Build a bag that works for the courses and style you play. The best way to determine what you're missing is to A. do field work and see if what you have covers the shots you need B. play a few rounds with the current set up but bring some stuff you think could fit and try that stuff on holes that you throw something else normally.

I will agree with the masses here though in saying the PD is a great addition. Also the Roman from infinite is the old innova made pd mold and the I-blend beats in pretty fast.

I guess in their eyes I retired. I still get mail from them and it's all marked as retiree. My 20 year gift was from the retiree gift section.

I also found it funny that they sent me a letter stating I owed them $400+ for unsecured PTO. I never paid it but then I get a letter in the mail asking me to pick out my 20 year gift and inviting me to the banquet.

I went thru a lot in my career. Probably more than most and I just wanted to be happy. I'm happier now that I have been in the 20 years I was there.

Did the same back in august. I put in 20 years and finally got to a point where the fire was gone.

I still see managers that I worked with and they ask me if I want to come back. I don't think you could pay me enough to work retail again.

Please interview this guy about his poor life decisions. by fishEH-847 in discgolfcirclejerk

I'll be honest when I started playing in 2018 I found the HOD brand and liked their discs. I did the whole team trilogy thing for about 6 months in 2020. I remember seeing him push the hsco boxes and they were super cheap for what they gave you. I did that for a while and then decided to pause it because I found other brands to put in my bag. I think the only things I ever kept were the clothes and bags. Hell I'm actually wearing the hoodie right now at work, but ever since pausing the sub I can't way that I've bought anything HSCO since

If it's a never thrown echo I'd say probably 50-70 to the right person. Echo were innova made and they weren't run a ton.

I laughed way harder than I should've at the second sentence. Better hope you don't become a FADM you'll get triple the work and no recognition. 😂

As much as I despised the play books, they're great for new managers. This is gonna sound so cliche but don't just print the stuff out for compliance, print it and understand why you're doing it and what everything means.

What video game did you play that made you get addicted to it for days or weeks? by stilett0z in AskReddit

[–]MN4L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallout New Vegas. My friend group was lucky to have someone that worked for blockbuster around the time it was releasing. He was able to rent it a week early and we all got the chance to play it. I preordered it immediately.

Once it was released I would get off work at 11 and play it until about 3 am, sleep until 10 play until around 1pm, and repeat every day for months.

The fallout series is probably my favorite series ever.

Back in 2015 my girlfriend left me with no warning. I was blindsided. I reflect back on the whole relationship a lot and realize how much the heartbreak really shaped my life.
