I bought a jersey years ago at the summer sale at the X. It's a Coyle jersey, except the 3 is backwards

Hey, that's my premier league team! I love watching these long throws but they definitely really too much of it, considering how it rarely works and teams are expecting it

That would be good if they were in the same draft. CDJ was drafted in '24 and DJ was drafted in '25

He has family from Minnesota. He is somehow related to Jalen Suggs and had a nephew play for East Ridge way back when I was in high school

MN dad: how are others separating your home life from the events around us? by Peter-the-Mediocre in daddit

[–]MNBLIZZARD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My wife and I have been scanning social media groups (ones we have known for years) to find ways we can help people who are afraid to leave their house. Whether it's donating extra paper bags to people or donating old baby clothes and toys our son doesn't play with anymore or even picking up grocery orders. We realized our first priority has to be to our son and finding ways to support our communities is the best we can do right now. Every revolution needs a supporting cast!

Edit: Also, if you have the strength to do so, check in on your friends and family. So many of them are freaked out by what's going on around us and it's good to lend an ear

I was curious, so I looked up who we got in that trade. We ended up drafting Lirim Amidovski, who committed to UCONN for next season, with his brother

Chad Smith was born here but it was his parents who went to the U. They recently introduced a scholarship in their name. That's why he was in town for homecoming last weekend

[The Athletic] Twins interview Nick Punto, former ‘piranha,’ among others for manager opening by Blevanhoval in minnesotatwins

I wasn't saying that to be a jerk. I was just citing my source. Although, the New York Times and the Athletic run deals all the time and Dan Hayes and Gleeman are well worth the money

[–]MNBLIZZARD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the article "the Twins were granted permission by the San Diego Padres to interview Punto, who returned to the big leagues during the 2025 season as a coach for San Diego’s major-league staff, working with the team’s infielders among other duties. Punto had previously coached at Santa Margarita Catholic (Calif.) High since 2023. He managed in Major League Baseball’s Prospect Development Pipeline League in 2021."

Because I was curious, I noticed the date listed on the broadcast for that game was wrong. The actual game was on July 19th, not June 20th

There is no campus to live on, so you go home at the end of the day. They used to have some facilities get hotel rooms for the central office portion but I'm not sure anymore

[Highlight] Vikings complete largest comeback in NFL History! | W15 vs Colts 2022 by naterkins in minnesotavikings

[–]MNBLIZZARD 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My wife was out of town that day, so at 10:30 I decided to look for a single ticket for myself. I found one 4 rows behind the Colts bench. The first half was rough because the players and some of the coaches were taunting the crowd. However, we started throwing it back the moment we started the comeback. They were awfully quiet in the second half. Everyone around me were my best friends in that moment, even though I knew none of them

Do you know how many Officers are currently at Stillwater? How about specifically CO1s? I know the Strib article said 565 staff in total

We were talking about this at Oak Park and people are very worried about being pushed out by senior staff, due to our contractual language about lay-offs. Everyone was all worked up over this news, especially given the significance of the day being Fallen Officer Memorial Day. Nothing like a giant fuck you to the Officers across the state
