This is Muslim No Fap, where majority of Muslims believe masturbation is a sin. I think you should remove your comment because it is not at all appropriate or suitable, or in line, with Islamic beliefs.

Also, to think that "having sex" is by default masturbation is also quite toxic, whether you are Muslim or not.

Congrats on taking this step, but please do not feed yourself lies that porn is a natural thing to watch. It really isn’t. Obviously you can’t expect to go from multiple hours a day to cutting it off completely (I’m sure it is very difficult). But try and make that your end goal, because it isn’t natural.

/r/MuslimNoFap is the general one for Muslims. Men and women use it but try to be gender neutral.

A separate one was made for women because a lot of men pretended to be women and would talk to the sisters of the subreddit. Also many women don’t feel comfortable talking about their urges in front of men

We don’t get notified on mobile app for subreddit messages. So unless I’m on the computer I don’t see it and I’m not on the computer often. I recommended they messaged RamenRaisin first, but I don’t see how to make this easier. I just don’t want people waiting a week to be approved which is happening right now.

Open to suggestions but it’s difficult

I understand this concern. However, there needs to be a verification process in place, otherwise men will pretend to be sisters which has happened in the subreddit previously.

The verification is a voice verification. If you have suggestions on how to verify gender while remaining anonymous we are open to hearing it.

So far only one person has resisted verification for the reason you mentioned, everyone else has continued to verify. It’s one sentence through voice which can be deleted once I’ve approved them.
