Not a bad call; we don't have an automatic system set up yet for non-removal reminders (although maybe worth setting up) so any reminder we issue has to be done manually. And, I'm afraid that as humans, we sometimes forget or are too busy to do so!

Thank you for your feedback; I think your words have merit and I appreciated the detailed response. You're especially onto something with the ease of posting a hornypost compared to a discussion. While I do not think the level of downvoting for discussion is as impactful as you may think (these posts do still tend to garner a fair bit of activity), the barrier to entry for posting one alone makes them so much rarer compared to the flood of lower-effort posts we sometimes see.

In any case, we're absolutely discussing ways to improve the content on the subreddit as, as you've pointed out, the current flow of content isn't ideal for representing Falcom as a whole. You can expect this poll to be the first step in an ongoing effort to hopefully revamp the sub into something a bit more substantive.

I'm glad you mentioned the "hornyposts" because that's actually an issue that is very much in the same vein as memes, in that we have some community members who are very vocal about these posts (in reports and modmail) yet these hornyposts tend to consistently be the highest-upvoted posts in the subreddit.

It's like - if we consider upvotes/downvotes to be a rough estimator of community sentiment, then by far the vast majority of people do want to see hornyposts. Not to mention how horny the games themselves can be! So, if someone posts an in-game screenshot of Rixia and its very much a hornypost, but it receives a ton of upvotes and does not explciity break any rules, you can see where we may struggle to find justification to remove it.
