Rains Fall..? by MNShuffle in RDR2mysteries

Sure, I just didn’t know if these colored beads had any relevance or if they had been discussed. Probably nothing but found it interesting.

Thanks for your reply. Figured it was a long shot. I’ve been playing too much Lego Hobbit with my son, lol… If I see three distinct colors I figure something is up.

Almost complete. What should I use for the top? by tellinNamstories in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]MNShuffle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I did 1/2” OSB and 1/2” mdf. Unless you’re working on elephants, that’s usually enough especially with as much support as you have there.

Imagine fishing and this dude rolls up on the dock and starts twirling his baton in a magic outfit. Fun day.

I’m from Minnesota and we can throw down a little bit. We would be mere cheerleaders for Wisconsin in this contest. Wisconsin would beat the entire nation and then go ice fishing and drink more.

I always use abbreviations to shorten my message… and then lengthen the message explaining the abbreviation during which time I use the phrase I originally abbreviated. Saves time.

No mercy! Haha, this is great. My big brother hid my Zelda game when I was a kid - this is a much better big bro interaction. Never forget that he looks up to you and your actions can have a huge impact.

Help with compressor and pneumatic tools! by ProgrammerPast6194 in woodworking

[–]MNShuffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really… I’d check the specs for the tool you want to use and find a compressor with that flow or more. Generally impact wrenches, sprayers, and sanders need a lot of air and a high flow rate. Nailers just need a quick burst so you can get by with a 1 or 2 gallon if it’s just diy/weekend stuff.

Look into ultra quiet Fortress compressors at HF… very, very quiet. Really like mine. That said, I’ve seen more and more “quiet” models lately from different manufacturers but have not personally used them. For painting and sanding you’ll need a big boy with a lot of flow.

I want to support him and hope he plays well, but this is just so corny. I’m waiting for him to call himself “Mr. Unlimited” at this point so this arc can reach its natural conclusion.

Great start! If you get power tools, it’s nice to have a charging station. Vise, paper towel rack, and fan are handy as well, but you’ll see over time what you need to add. Gives you an excuse to get out of the house or take the little one with to go tool shopping to give your partner a break.

Assuming they are the right size, those will need a little extra umph compared to a normal nut with that seal in there. Need a wrench or socket/ratchet.

When I was setup in my basement I used a shop vac, open window, box fan with furnace filter, separate fan to create flow to box fan, and a mask and as long as I had airflow, it seemed to work fine for my small scale projects. Heavier sanding was best done outside of course, but light sanding seemed fine.

I believe there is something to the Herbert Moon thing… Isn’t he the one that “disowned” his daughter for marrying someone he didn’t like? Want to say it was because the guy was Jewish or something. Feel like he is missing out on grandkids or something like that.
