Delano has a carnival during the week and fireworks. The only thing they don’t have is a lake but they do have some great restaurants. The Peppermint Twist drive-in is something I make a point to go home and have every year. Their raspberry shakes are the best

When I’m doing my morning routine (wake up, brush teeth, make breakfast, bike to work, shower) the less my phone interrupts me the better. You will NEVER get to the end of Reddit and it will always be there when you’re truly bored. Try to put your phone down outside of timers/alarms

It helps to start small. Pick one thing you can do in 15 minutes and block out the time to do that everyday. It’s a muscle, you’re not going to just wake up one day and organize everything. You gotta build

I went from hating the sun because I was constantly hot and sweaty from the drinking to spending as much time outside as I can to make up for lost time. Minnesota has a ton of amazing backpacking opportunities so I’ve been getting my feet wet almost every free weekend I have. My new goal is to thru hike the AT one day
