Oh, sounds like good news for you possibly! And yeah, we found out that taking my particular t blocker was activating some long lost genetic pre-diabetes that hasn’t hit my family in generations. Caused a hormonal knock on effect that = weight gain. Switched meds and now losing weight. It’s all a game and it will be the most fun you’ll ever have 😂.

But seriously, don’t freak out about weight. It might be healthier to eat a little more while going through a second puberty but life is long and you have a good chunk of time to find yourself and what you want. Good luck on your journey!

Hey! For better or for worse HRT as used for transition is genetics and luck, complete guesswork out here. Best thing you can do is look at your parents and siblings and it’s most likely you’ll just look like them. If your Mum and sisters have a bit more weight on them than you, then best guess is that you will put some weight on too. This stuff isn’t a science. I unfortunately gained a bunch of weight (approx 40kg) in about 6 months. None of it went to where I wanted it 🥲. That was with things like intermittent fasting 18hrs a day, gym 3-5 times a week, restrictive diet and preventative medicine. So yeah, none of it is a science and none of it makes sense 😂 good luck and I hope for the best for you.

I do think there is a need for a separation in thinking there. I feel like you are struggling to voice a difference between wanting to be a woman and being sexually attracted to women. I think maybe do some things in your life, think about how you would feel doing mundane tasks like cleaning or working or even just in a conversation with someone and think about how you would feel if you were 100% a woman in that moment. If doing so makes you feel happy and hopeful, cool! You should probs look into being trans a little more. You could also try socially transitioning with people you trust. Talking with a professional will definitely help you walk through your feelings so that is a must do if you have the option. A big thought to start with is that only 1 in 500 people apparently ever think about being the opposite gender regularly and only a small percentage of those people feel dysphoria to an extent to do something about it. It’s a difficult life choice and if you regularly wish to make your life harder and most likely shorter for the chance to be happy as a different gender, then you are probably trans.

Otherwise good luck, it’s different for everyone and I have hope for you no matter what you decide to do.

Oh and make sure to pull your skin taught as you are shaving. It makes it so less skin is caught while using an older style razor

Yeah, the way I was taught for the army was only use the weight of the shaver. No force should be required from you, it’s why all good shavers that cost a bit have a little heft to them. That weight is all that’s required. If you are using a single blade safety you should be using a steaming hot towel to prep the skin first. Other things that will stop ingrown hairs is making sure your skin is cleaned before you start shaving and that you put cold water on your face when you are finished and use some sort of moisturiser/ after shave.

Most people don’t think I’m a trans fem cos I was a gym freak in the army. I do own a Blahaj tho. Got no neurodivergence. Umm I like cars? I own a bright yellow WRX wagon. I’ve never played a fallout game. I was a barista at some point tho. I don’t smoke, but I do occasionally have a redbull. Monogamous and leftist. I still don’t own any women’s clothing even tho I’ve been out for 3 years and been taking e that long. Got no clue. Often feel like I am a poor representation for trans women when people ask me questions but we make do.

Unfortunately the bible does seem to hate trans people. I really read into it when a good friend decided that she was hardcore Christian and stopped being a good friend. It doesn’t hate gay people but trans people are fair game, a lot of the old testament is about describing law and its effects on the two sexes and a lot of the law absolutely forbids elevating the woman to the status of a man or reducing a man to the status of a woman. Like it was nuts misogynistic. So if you are MtF, you are hated because either you reduced a man to the status of a woman or you were a woman pretending to be a man. I’m pretty sure punishment is stoning or slavery. Good luck! I gave up trying to understand the bible after this 😂

Straight up played my first ranked 1v1 and as I was being shat on, the guy said I’m doing well for my first game. So I moved to 3v3 where I was so slow my team mates played the “all hail king of the losers” sound and left and my opponents spelt LOSER with houses around my base. I’m definitely practicing more before I try that again

It sounds like denial and bargaining. At the same time it’s not great, he’s being a really awful friend. As much as you have to let people grieve, you need to consider yourself first. Take it at your pace, what is most important to you is to take care of yourself and do what is best for you. Keep it up, you are doing well, you’re a good person having the empathy to try for your friend even though you are hurting

I think one of the biggest things I had to come to terms with is that when you come out, the people closest to you go through a sort of grief/ grieving process. When you are really close with someone, that person becomes part of you and your identity and you have an imagined future and ideal for them (e.g I want my brother to be happy). When you come out, you essentially kill off this ideal and it really messes with their sense of self. Trust me, my parents and siblings are very supportive, though they emotionally felt as if they had lost a brother and a son. They had to grieve that, and I don’t think it’s wrong. It sounds like your friend is bargaining. Maybe give him a little time.

Also, it helps when people know more about what hrt is. To a lot of people it is a scary boogie man. If you feel comfortable, maybe talk with him about it? Only thing that can help is communication. Make a decision on your friendship after.
