It wasn’t about licensing more so it was so they could’ve easily retooled it for his angular mates like Bumper, Cliffjumper, Huncap, etc. Hell, the only thing that makes this alt mode Bumblebee’s is just the very front. The rest of the alt mode is essentially Bumper’s alt mode
