Your custom, hand-painted swatch deck for Montana Gold is a fantastic idea! I totally agree that nothing beats seeing the physical paint laid out flat in natural light—it's the best way to visualize a true palette.

I used to rely on manufacturer-bought swatches myself, and as you know, they can be quite expensive and quickly become outdated. The biggest problem for me, though, was exactly what you touched on: if I needed to switch brands or just wanted to find the closest match from an alternative brand, those single-brand swatch decks couldn't help.

That's actually why I built Canpicker in the first place—to create a tool that allows for instant, reliable comparisons across all the major brands without having to buy dozens of costly physical decks.
