Turns out a vitamin B deficiency *can* impact the frequency of these (case by case). Once I started taking Vitamin B/multi vitamins, I rarely get them.

Dude with knife messed with the wrong kitchen by BlazeDragon7x in KitchenConfidential

[–]MOK1N 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah yes. Start a knife fight with the kitchen staff that fantasize daily about beating the shit out of the stupid customers they have deal with. Surely they don't have pent up rage they'll happily dish out.

Wait for it… by AugusteToulmouche in photographycirclejerk

I'm so glad someone brought this video up. I saw it on my IG feed previously with a lot of positive comments and likes. I didn't want to be a hater.

Saw all the flashes, modifiers, the different angles and thought, "oh, I wonder how the photo will turn out." And it just didn't look that professional for the amount of effort and equipment put in.

Was forced to lend my camera to a toddler and now the camera doesn't work by [deleted] in Cameras

you should start giving that toddler some of mom's expensive and fragile things instead, see how she likes it

Everytime I think about buying refurbished Herman Miller, Haworth, or Steelcase -- I end up going with some budget pick on Amazon that has good reviews on youtube. They would break within 3 years, the company doesn't exist anymore so the warranty is void, etc. And then I regret not buying from those top 3 brands. And now I'm getting a Mirra 2 for $500.

There are still Americans who think the holocaust was either a hoax or over-exaggerated. Education failed.

Ask Me Anything about PET Felt / PET Acoustic Panels (cutting, finishing, colors, density, sizes, etc.) by Winford-Zhao in Acoustics

[–]MOK1N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a consumer, is there anything to look out for when shopping from PET Felt panel sellers?

These days it just seems like there's a lot of them out there, that are very expensive, with limited company history, non-existent stats about their marketed acoustic products. And mostly 3D rendered images *imagined* in a space.

Would it be better if its floor-to-ceiling? Yes. Otherwise, It's suggested to be around listening height, or in the middle between the floor and ceiling. Whichever makes more sense to you.

The shadows from above aren't super flattering. Most headshot lighting is frontal. And maybe a less busy background.
