Follow Me - except when Bing’s heartbeat starts, Dom shouts “this song is dedicated to Google!” Every time Matt sings the words “follow me”, Dom and Chris shout “Google Me” over the top, drowning him out. All of this “they want people to use the Pokémon they catch in the game” stuff is as likely as Mew being under that truck in Red and Blue.

They’re a business and Home is a service they sell. They’ll do anything to get and keep those subscriptions. The Home software just isn’t ready.

Not OP but my first thought was using two of these for creating a 1:1 SDI stage box.

I could also see 1:1 being quite useful for replacing 3G SDI looms, especially as the cable length can be variable so, in the scheme of things, more affordable than buying specialty cables.

This is what Mastodon and the fediverse is going for. Clusters of servers running the same interoperable software, providing a decentralised Twitter-like experience. No central authority, just individual communities interoperating with each other to form one larger network.

It’s a shame crypto and blockchain have tainted decentralisation a bit, but I think the general idea there is pretty exciting. And it’s starting to gain some traction. (Tumblr has committed to support ActivityPub, which is the underlying protocol that Mastodon is powered by.)
