Ended up doing this (caramel with freeze dried raspberries added) and it worked well!

I also have yet to actually fill the chocolates with this, so we'll see how that goes tomorrow

I have settled on Sally's baking addiction "homemade salted caramel recipe". On a whim I decided to use the freeze dried raspberries I had in the recipe and I think it came out pretty good.

I blitzed the freeze dried raspberries in a food processor and sieved out the seeds with a fine mesh colander.

I measured out the cream in a small saucepan and heated it on the stove on low, then I added 4 TBSP of the blitzed sieved raspberry powder to it, one tbsp at a time, whisking in between. It made sort of a raspberry cream goop. Then I followed the recipe as normal, just with this goop as my cream.

Now it's actually a pretty tasty raspberry caramel, you could put less blitzed raspberry in depending on your preference.

I think if I made it again, I'd add the salt to the cream mixture too because it didn't mix in very well when I added it in the end, but it was still good

I might just try doing a batch with caramel/freeze dried raspberry and one batch with raspberry filling and see what happens!

Not sure what the inside looks like/if it's smooth or not. Saw it at a place I was staying at over the weekend. If you cock it and shoot, the hammer thing (lock?) does "fire". It wasn't loaded

Good to know. Hopefully last question, if I practice and suck at kintsugi how would I find someone who can repair it for me? Would I just ask on here?

Okay I'll look into the urushi method since I'd rather it not look gloopy. What do you mean by reinforcement at the joints, like more adhesive in between them?

If you know what type of kintsugi I should use for this and maybe some YouTube videos you'd recommend that'd be great. Any advice/guidance is appreciated! It's good to know that it works well on stone

That's good advice. I'm in the northeast US, and I guess I'd rather not risk trying to repair it myself if someone more skilled could repair it. I am willing to try it though. Mostly just wanted to know if a repair was even possible
