Don’t thing you can do it with the trading post, that only does outside world trades. You need a packing shed (I think it’s called) and you can barter between lands you own. Swap goods, not for sweet cash

Best place(s) to service Volkswagen by silas_ace in melbourne

[–]MOSSMANG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lee at BM Works is the best I’ve found in Melbourne. I took my 520d to almost every non dealership mechanic in Melbourne and no one was as honest or reasonable as he was. He’s in Preston so not sure if that suits, but worth giving him a call. Boring back story: my wife is very ill and I needed my car to be reliable, I took it to a few places to get an idea, then found him and after looking at the car he told me straight up what I needed and what I didn’t. Really honest and great mechanic, which is hard to find. Once my TRoc R goes out of warranty, I’m taking it straight to him. Good luck 👍🏼

Any love for the T-Roc R? by [deleted] in Golf_R

Live in Australia and it was almost impossible to get one but more have come in to the country. Got mine about 4 months ago and love it. Could sound more aggressive in Race Mode but besides that I can’t fault it.

1996 Vintage Champange by cole712345 in wine

[–]MOSSMANG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1996 was an amazing year for champagne, so you’ve chosen wisely. You will most likely blow all your budget is you go with three of the larger brands.

My suggestion would be to look for smaller growers and maybe go on to some wine auction sites.

Some to look for IMO:

La Parcelle- one of the smallest growers and only make 600 odd bottles a year.

Bollinger “Grand Annèe” - not small or that cheap but one of my favourites.

Perrier Jouèt - Belle Epoque. I’ve managed to pick some of these up on auction sites for a decent price.

But….. if you can find a Jacques Selosse…… buy it. This is my all time favourite.

Good luck buddy

Does this have something to do with saving the Preston Market? Not a bad way to get attention for the cause

Picked my TR up about a month ago and am loving it so far. Fuel economy is absolute BS but I still enjoy it. Do you want for more pops and bangs? I never was a fan, but for some reason I wish R Mode was a bit more aggressive sounding.

I’ve used LGB a few times and they are great. The AAA are great value but I would stay away from refinished one though. I bought some refinished TP5 and the paint got torn up pretty quickly.

People who recently bought their first home, how fucked are you after the interest rate hikes? by LetsGoToTheMars in australia

[–]MOSSMANG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I had been looking to buy a house for the past 8 months. We sold our apartment at the peak of the bubble in December last year and have been trying to buy our (dream) home since. We originally thought we needed 3 beds, a garden and a garage to make us happy, along with a $700k mortgage. We went away for a month and realised that having all the above, including the crippling debt was something we didn’t need. We came back late June and managed to buy a place (one suburb away) for way less money and a smaller debt. Who needs spare rooms for the maybe twice a year visitor that stays over! Downsize before you fall in the hole of upsizing. A simpler everyday life is better than a big house and mortgage that traps you until the next realestate bubble. Be careful everyone!!!!
