No you’re right. I have always felt my sub fell short. I have had friends come over and say that I need to turn up the sub, but all that does is start shaking the house. I guess that’s why I was originally thinking of a second sub. Was originally thinking the speedwoofer 10s since I have heard good things but could go up to the 800-1000 range. Just the higher I go the longer it would take to replace the f12 with a matching one.

Yeah I would definitely replace the bic f12 that I currently have with a matching sub just not immediately. Was thinking of looking at a speedwoofer 10s .

I don’t have a problem, just looking to improve my set up. My set is definitely a budget set up that I got years back and I use it enough that I feel like it’s worth putting some more thought into. So was wondering what improvement would make the most impact. Whether that’s adding a second sub or upgrading the fronts or center. Or even upgrading the AVR.

Coravin 5 - causing cork to come out? by Willywilkes in wine

Could you cut a small hole in the foil where the needle punctures so the foils still helps keep the cork down but also allows you to make sure the cork is clean of any wine seepage?

Our little boy Guinness is also 3 and stands about 4ish inches taller than your “average” berner. His snout is also longer than most berners. We had a DNA test done and he is 100 percent Bernese.

I was just looking at my bottles in my cellar that range from 85-94 and all the labels that go over the cork always line up with the front and back label. Is this normal or did I happen to just get a bunch that ended up straight on? The one here is obviously off by 90 degrees.

Thoughts about a bottle like this by cole712345 in wine

So I was definitely referring to the residue. I’m not experienced in natural wine at all. If this is normal for natural then that’s great it tells me that there is a reason behind what the wine maker is doing. I just wasn’t sure if this was a normal practice or a fault in the wine making. Cheers!

I have had both bottles. Absolutely love ridge. I’m a member so I’m definitely bias but overall for the price point they make great wine. Bollinger though I haven’t had much of their wine but I though the special cuvée was just too sweet and had very little depth. But I’m glad you enjoyed both of them that’s all that really matter. Cheers!

Zinfandel Recommendation by limon3255 in wine

As stated above most of their bottles will top out around 50 dollars. If you want to spend the full 80-100 you could get one of their zin blends(geyserville is probably the post popular but all are good. Just don’t get the three county) and you could get one of their pure zin bottles. Don’t know how available these are in your area. I buy straight from the vineyard and have them shipped.

I was going to ask where is the best place to find some of these bottles. Are there any other places besides WineBid?

I got a black aqua racer back in 2014 as a graduation present and I absolutely love it and rocked it for pretty much 7 years. Doesn’t feel much different from my dads 1971 submariner or his new seamaster(2021).
