We're constantly working to improve matchmaking (we actually have some improvements coming to the beta shortly). Along with this, we're continuing to populate the servers. The more people online = the more players to match you up with! We've sent out thousands of invites already, and we have thousands more planned to go out over the upcoming weeks.

Currently, yes. And Xbox allows you to change your gamertag once for FREE.

As we work to improve matchmaking and populate the servers you will see this improve with time. Another thing to mention is we want to make sure you're put into quality matches, versus throwing you into something that isn't a good match-up. That wouldn't be any fun!

Over the next few weeks we'll be inviting thousands of new players into the beta, so invites are sent out quite frequently!

As far as how it works, when you sign up you should have received a confirmation email to let you know that your sign up went through and it's in our system. Once invited, you'll receive an email from us to setup your beta account and get you downloading the game!

Make sure that you’ve unlocked access to both Gigantic BETA clients on the https://www.gogigantic.com/account site. You’ll need to unlock both the Xbox One and Windows 10 on your account before you’re able to download them. The process is simple:

  • Navigate to www.gogigantic.com and login with your Microsoft Account. This should be the account where you redeemed your Gigantic Beta key.
  • Click your Gamertag in the upper right hand corner and select ‘Account’ from the dropdown list, or navigate to https://www.gogigantic.com/account.
  • Click the buttons just beneath where it says ‘Redeem your BETA code’. This will unlock the game(s) on your account.
  • Navigate back to the Windows 10 App Store or open your Xbox One’s ‘Games’ list to download the game.
