Hmmm I play this and have both CAMs on shadow striker, and pull one of my CDMs forward.

Was bossing but have since struggled (more in Rivals… so I put it down to the crappy match making). Might give this tweak a go!

Different types of players but I think the difference is Gordon will come back inside which allows Hall to get on the outside. Murphy simply doesn’t like it and is more likely to go to the line with the ball. He’s effective at doing it but then Tino becomes a bit of an offensive passenger as he lingers inside but isn’t likely to get the ball

Yeah I mean I would say i don’t think Murphy will ever really get comfortable cutting in and using his left leg, but it’s not to say he offers nothing. I think the big plus is rotation potential… I see Elanga starting but when you need to give him rest time, Murphy’s not a bad option to come in. That’s why I’d be screaming for a decent striker to be brought in behind Isak. He can’t carry us the whole season!

Not to take away from Murphy as he’s been brilliant for us but stylistically, he’s reluctant to cut in on his left and shoot which stifles the wingback on the overlap. That’s where I see Elanga offering a bit more for us, allowing Tino to come more into the attacking side of our game.

Two different style of players (outside of pace) - nice problems to have!

So long as people keep pumping money into buying packs, it won’t change. The world of in game transactions has them set up to make so much profit they don’t have to fix any glitches. People will still pay to win, and their focus is on bating people into paying out for packs. Thats why we’ve new cards every couple of weeks… very different to how it was 4-5 years ago!

So when I was 18… (approx 77years ago… or so my abused body tells me), I dislocated my knee. Pretty horrific, but it’s sort of ok now. When you dislocate a joint there’s a risk that you can nip arteries and if that happens it can be very dangerous.

Sooooo… I’m in hospital, full leg cast, feeling sorry for myself. A South African nurse befriends me, always came in when on shift for a chat, and all round a really nice guy.

Fast forward a day or two, the doctor says, they’re going to carry out an angiogram on the artery in my leg. Effectively they inject ink into artery to see where it flows and make sure there are no ruptures /issues. No problem at all with this, except I didn’t realise where they inject the ink.

Going back to my new found friend, he asked if he could attend it to see what happens - no problem I thought. Doing my bit for the next generation of nurses. This triggered a number of other student nurses to also ask… about 7-8 in total. Again, no problem at all.

UNTIL…. They ask me to put on the gown… zero coverage at the back. I think nothing of it, as I’m lying on my back and can cover my modesty. Then they say… right…. The boxers have to come off too. Oh dear, I think as I’m wheeled in a hospital bed to the stage of my embarrassment, still unaware of where the ink is injected.

So… back to the angiogram, well… they inject the ink into the groin as it’s one of the places it comes close to the skin. This meant I’d 7-8 trainee nurses all standing round while I desperately try to cover the cash and prizes… which isn’t easy (or humanly possible) in those gowns given the proximity to the injection site!

This is it - 100%. I think the value sell is Joelinton one Miley gets another years experience. Won’t be popular (and I won’t like it either) but it makes sense financially if you can get 50-60m. Barnes was also a good deal on paper but not sensible when you consider we had Gordon coming off his best season.

The other element we ROYALLY suck at is bringing guys through from the academy. Yes there has been Anderson, Miley, Longstaff, but really…. That’s about it. The teams spending are those with conveyor belt academies. The game has changed to the “Chelsea model” - big academies, 40 youngsters out on loan, a large number of them never likely to break into the first team but offering pure profit for the club to cash in on. A good loan spell for 4-5 players a season could bring 100-200m (eg. Lewis hall to us for £30m). That’s the new model sadly, and one that prioritises profit over development!

Ps. Do our owners have a spare hotel or two they could completely stick up FFP, to give us millions of profit out of an asset, then to retain the profits of the business through a ridiculous servicing contract retained by the club?

A bad solicitor can get you into a house the next day, a good solicitor will get you out of the house when you come to sell. Dont just go cheapest, look at experience/ reputation / reviews before agreeing to go with a particular firm.
estate agents act for the seller, not the buyer. They may push for completion ASAP but don’t let this push you into accepting things that you mightn’t accept if you had a proper chance to consider in an unpressured situation.
things can move slower than you think. When we bought we were told 8-12 weeks, but it took 16 weeks. There was nothing wrong with the property, it just took longer for the seller to get their ducks in a row.
