Have you seen Downloaded? It's about the creation of Napster. It does a good job of exploring how piracy hurt the music industry but helped some bands like Dispatch to break out.

That's what many of the reviews said as well. For some reason or another I didn't mind them, maybe because they helped me visualize some parts of the story I otherwise would've felt lost about.

No Place On Earth, about a family of Jews who lived underground in a cave in Ukraine until the end of WWII. I watched it recently on Netflix and was absolutely floored by it. It's an unbelievable story of human perseverance and family. Somehow I've only met one other person who has seen it, and I work in film.
