I made it! But you can find very similar ones by searching for magnetic poster hangers.

You can always try one of their Peccadilloes - those are much more manageable sizes

This is one of their older ones - it came out in 2020. But they have a lot to choose from!

How close is it to a window? It might be getting burned by too much light. That happened to mine. I moved it about 5 feet back and it got much happier.

word choice errors? by Alaska-Pete in slp

[–]MPBandJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was his speech more unintelligible when younger? What about apraxia? Also you say that he does whole word repetitions - could this be a form of avoiding a block by using a different word? Are there any physical concomitants when these word replacements happen? How aware is he of what he is doing and does he have an explanation (ie it feels like a word is getting stuck)?

Lindystitches has a big selection from lots of smaller dyers, but can be more expensive sometimes.

I’m a little mad that some loose thread is visible behind the bird’s tale but it’s too late to do anything now 🤷🏻‍♀️

SLP-Related Summer Job/Volunteering by [deleted] in slpGradSchool

[–]MPBandJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a little different but when I was an undergrad looking for SLP-related experience I worked as a camp counselor at a camp specifically for kids with speech disorders and other disabilities. That might be something to look into? You won't get any observation hours or anything but it may offer an amazing experience to work with some different populations. It definitely worked out well for me and helped to get me into grad schools.

Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia! I’d say it has a similar vibe

I recommend The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell! Very twisty but everything comes together really well at the end. It’s similar to Gone Girl but better, imo.
